I'm not sure why the video was delayed for so long, but thank you GF for sharing.

As for their Letter to the Community, I think if they are able to manage it consistently and well (e.g. release it monthly or so and with not-too-vague info) then I foresee it as a positive addition to the community.

One suggestion would be to make the Letters released at the start of each month and give hints of what's to come for that month and then some answers to suggestions or questions that have been asked. This is quite similar to how they did it this time around.

However, if they don't manage it well, then all effort will be for flop and backlash will follow. So I hope for both sides' sake they do well if they so choose to continue these Letters.

    -------

Since GF does have some employees playing SW, it makes me wonder if we will ever get GMs for our version. I would love to have in-game GM events, as I think that'll help strengthen the bond between GF and the community in game. Hopefully, they'll answer that question in the future.

There were other options GF could have taken for this Q&A.

For example, they could have staggered answers releases.

    1) Release the answers to easier questions during/end of Gamescon.

    2) Release answers to difficult questions, such as those requiring LG's input, at a later date.

This would have been more professional.

But seeing how they chose the all answers at once option and they're taking their time to answer the questions, we should be expecting great detailed answers, right? ;)

While I appreciate the response, GF should be handling communication with more skill by now. We should not have to ask for when this or that comes this often. Instead GF should be able to tell us "we have a delay because of this and that," "we estimate we will have it done by this time," etc.. without the players' continuous probing.

Since I'm on the topic of GF and its poor communication, one of my biggest gripes with how some information is handled is how they only post certain info on certain social media or the forums. To make it worst, they'll sometimes only post on one but not the other sources. The lack of consistency is troublesome and makes it a chore for us to find info at times.

I would appreciate it if and when GF has to make answers to important questions like these (or bugs, or server issues, or cash shop price changes, etc.) that they create a news or announcement that can be seen in-game/when opening the client/the main website (like what they do with updates and cash shop updates and events).

The lack of communication is disrespectful to the players and very unprofessional in my opinion. It comes to no surprise to me that when GF tries to do something "right" they are constantly receiving backslash instead. They brought it upon themselves after all. It's easy to ruin your reputation and hard to fix it.

Riisan029 Wowy, these are really nice and cute. Thanks for the share! That was a lot of them too. I really like your colouring style, btw.

Some of them still aren't showing up for me. The last post in the batch you posted all of them aren't showing up. A few of the ones from the post before that one aren't showing up either.

Can't wait to view those as well. :)

Riisan029 I'd love to see you share more of your works here! I went and checked out your thread from way back and I like what I saw!

Also, It's a bummer that SEA players can't play here, but it is what it is. :(

I'm a guy and yaoi and BL don't bother me at all. Also Jin x Erwin is a funny combo.

    >Jin can't speak to women properly.

    >Erwin gets rejected by all girls except Catherine...

Put them TWOgether. Though to be fair, I think Jin fits with all the characters as a ship except Stella. Idk who Stella would pair with the best if anyone at all. Protect the sweet child.

Also I agree with Sweet Noir it's refreshing to see more male character fanarts since most of them are of the females, namely Stella and Iris.

Soul-Worker1.jpgIf you look carefully the hair kind of resembles and the hat too, obviously the weapon has changed. I wonder if they'll use old concept art for the new charas that'll be cool.

I also like the bashai idea. And I love the Dragon nest reference peezzy

As for the lack of fanarts, I've been wondering the same thing. I do some soulworker fanarts but it depends on my mood. I do hope we can have more fanarts from our community

I've seen your artworks and like them. It'd be a pleasure to see more. :)

I also hope we can see more activity in the fanart section too.

I have to admit I always chuckle when I see your art. I love Lily's droopy scythe btw.

    ..after that event issue

Even prior to the art event there wasn't that much activity, but I do agree that it might have caused some backlash and made some hidden artists leave. i wished GF would have shown all participating artworks and not just the winners.

Actually, I've seen quite a few of them in official Korean forums.

They also get quite... spicy, but nothing explicit of course. (Most of them are of the grills in game, as expected)

Oh, yes. I've seen the kr fanarts and I love how active their art community is.

However, I was hoping to see more from our EU/NA community. So far I think Twitter or Pixiv has the most active artists for SW.

As stated in the title, are art shops allowed?

For example, art shops where artists can charge the commissioner in-game items or dz for artwork. I didn't see anything in the community guidelines that indicated that they weren't allowed.

My friend and I would love to commission an artwork at some point if they are allowed.

Also, where are all the artists at? I saw only a small handful of art threads but they became inactive shortly after. This section tends to be my favourite for each game I play so I am sad to see it lacking for SW despite all of the fashion lovers.

    Lovely artists, where art thou?

    Let me admire your artworks.

Thanks for the advanced Haru info and the Valea Vilior info. It's also nice to see what others are thinking.

    -----------------------------

I noticed Jin has a strong urge to destroy the enemy. He does show sometimes show sympathy to enemies, like with the blood soulworkers and that one edgar-obsessed thing from Rocco.

It's reasonable to assume that Jin succumbed to his desire for more power in order to save everyone/wipe out the enemy. The sinforce goes to those who desire power as well, so that's probably why Jin fell, despite being a good person overall.

(Please note that, I've only played Jin up to Ruin Fortress so I still don't know his story for GCC. Just taking a guess from what I've seen and read).

As for Erwin, while he's shown to be the intellectual type, he's ultimately into having fun. Recall that he intentionally walked into the void out of curiosity. I'm pretty sure no sane person would do that. Also, Erwin constantly states that he thinks saving people is fun and thus continues to do so (also because of his promise to Catherine makes him want to save people, see more info below*). So in that way, he's still pursuing something "fun."

He left Tenebris's group to find his "true self" and showed up later as a murderous Sinworker. (I laughed when Tenebris shared this info. Tenebris also said that he never wanted to see Erwin's blood soaked grin ever again. I'm curious what that looked like. I pity Tenebris, lol).

As for his Sinworker enjoying human slaughtering, the sinforce makes your greed overcome everything and distorts rational thoughts. His desire for fun turned to having fun "playing chess with human lives" as Tenebris puts it.

*Erwin promised to marry Catherine in 5 years. He does state he eventually fell in love with her, although he'd at first made the promise without being serious. Throughout the story, you'll see that he does miss her and care for her a lot. To him, the ring she gave him is a vow he plans to keep even after she died. He intends to do this by becoming the ideal man for her and saving the world. This promise ultimately helps him fight off his shadow walker.

I'm really curious about Iris. Anyone have info on her to share?

I asked my friend to send me Jin's dialogues but he's busy and only gave me a bit.

As for my take on Amad

Some more stuff including Jin stuff

    Thanks for the share.

    For Erwin's

    I always love story-based threads.

I'm also curious about that last point you mentioned as well.

    For this

Thanks for offering us this opportunity.

Here are some questions I have.

-Can we get a costume design contest? If yes, can the winning costume be made into an in-game costume?

-Will anything be done to balance PvP? For example different cooldown times or damage %s for PvP only.

-Can we have more PvP modes? For example, capture the flag, protect the captain, or who can kill the most, etc.

-Can there be a PvP mode where gears are ignored?

-Can we get something similar to Steel Graves, but it does not take in account gears and thus require more skills to clear?

-Will there ever be any GM events or will we ever have any GMs to help grow/manage the in-game community?

-Can we have a guild reward system that awards active/loyal members with points or something which can then be traded in for items?

-Will additional emotes (not linked to costumes) evert be implemented?

I've been trying to look this everywhere but does anyone know what the "Sun Kiss" outfit looks like? Is it already in the list or..?

The first post has it listed as Marine marine set.

Here's the link for it which also shows the emotes: Here

watch the rate to get costume pieces be as bad as trying to upgrade your gears

But yeah, the worthless items and splitting of costume pieces were low moves
