well the new akasha box is looks like it's pretty much just putting neo into it, except only 1-5 neo per pack.

So basically if I make a summary of the thread its: All F2P players should just stop playing and no player should ever complain about anything cause if you want to complain just leave the game.
If people would have done that the game would still be like in beta and I can promise you you dont want beta SW back. If we wouldnt had complained, there would still be DZ seller bots all over the place like in beta, there would still be many bugs in the game and many of the QOL changes wouldve never happened.
Also think about the playerbase of this game. Its already so small since such changes werent made earlier. If the game wouldve been released with fairer systems not only would it had been easier for F2Ps but it would also had attracted more people who wouldve spend stuff on the game. And Im 100% sure that the opportunity costs GF had due to bad managing of the game were much higher than what they couldve made. So by argumenting with "They need to pay for servers and content" kinda doesnt makes sense, since if these systems would be fairer for all players they would had made much more money through this game.

Lot of normal players got their stuff, like most of my guildmates by just altfarming. GameForge gave chance to get every akashas you want. The only thing every f2p player just do is ALTing 0-24. Collect like 1000 akashas in 1-2 month, and enjoy their Aruas,Tenebrises,Venerises.
Yea, i knew some guildies also alt farm and opened 500 akasha didnt get arua yet. And he is still continuing back to his alt farm grind. The main point is this post i think the complain is because he is lazy to alt farm now, he wants it to get it easily. I am sure no matter f2p or p2w, a lot are frustrated at not getting the akasha they want, that's why i said in my first post - Either grind in real life or grind in game, both type of people are the same. They spend their time to get something they want, just whether which is more efficent, that depend on where you live and ur place standard of living. Like they don't it people that spend money, they probably spend their idk how many months of saving or maybe just 2-4 weeks of salary to topup. And F2P that alt farm, if they alt farm 4-5 alt for 2-4 weeks straight, i wonder how many akasha they can get.

With best regardsNah, it's not about that. F2P wanted to complain it's fine, but dont expect to get spoon feed them because of laziness. If this is like JP server where no share bank and no good event to help f2p players, then it's totally something need to be change. But the fact is that Akasha doesn't matter f2p, p2w, KR server, JP server, they all have the same RNG. Except only thing we are missing is if we paid for certain akasha box, then we can pick 5* akasha we wants. That's kr paid user benefit and advantage. And complain doesn't always means it's bad, i agree in beta a lot players quit because they not willing to bring VIP loyalty system. But quite a lot quit was because content release is too slow, not because of akasha.

People enjoy speend 300$-1000$ on per month in this type of game and SW is the GATCHA game they choose so let them enjoy the rules of GATCHA.
IF you try to let all thing free the Game is not the same and people will not enjoy it
I completely understand that this is a GATCHA, but as people stated there's too much RNG with it, compare KR and JP to our Version then make the final deal, enjoy this while you can, any game will shut down at any point of time, when it does all that money you've spend is wasted so keep that in mind.
JP server without share bank, if i play multiple character, having to get the same akasha, +9 multiple same gears, and re-roll same gears multiple times, i am not sure if i am liking that. KR probably would be the best out of 3, but they are the developer, so have more control over the coding.
doesn't JP server make up for it with events or something along those lines?
do you think those event can get akasha, Anti, and Strength Expansion faster than Alt farming? I mean you can try there and see, personally lets not think about getting the akasha i want for multiple char i play, just thinking about +9 same gears multiple times already turning me away from that server.

Although I agree a company has to make profits to sustain cost and expenses, it doesn't change the fact that this system is way too unfair / unrewarding unless you're from that fraction of players having all cards with little efforts.
Having too much of RNG in a game makes players flee the game with all the consequences it can have (bad reviews, drop of popularity, loss of profits, etc...) !
Did you know that one well-known rule of marketing says that a dissatisfied customer tells eleven people and that a satisfied person only tells four people ?
The game could have attracted more players of any kind if the editor stopped nerfing everything and that farming meant actually farming and not gambling.
Besides, cash-shop addicts doesn't necessarily spend everything in Akashas so don't worry about that !

Whole purpose of company, or even a restaurant, they give free sample then customer like it, they will purchase the goods. Right now it's like a person or a group of free "customer" that is eating free sample telling the restaurant the sample size is too small, not even able to fill up their stomach, they should give the whole plate of food to them, instead of purchasing it. If you want the food, you either work for it or paid for it. Yes, they need playerbase to be able to attract Paid user to continuing playing the game. That's why they implemented a f2p way to grind those items, but the RNG doesnt change, no matter if you are Free or pay user, both type of player still have the same RNG when opening akasha, when opening brooch, when upgrading and so on. RNG = Gambling, since it's all about probability. If instead of dropping gears in raid, it drop box then you open and able to get extend, standard and all char weapon, then it's the same as akasha.

Yea, i think people complain no matter what. If they go to game that has no p2w, like league, overwatch ,etc. They will complain how RNG put them with bad teammate and they cant rank up. To me, just play to enjoy, if they did something that make me no longer enjoy the game anymore, just move on and time to play other game. lol

First of all, this isn't something you "grind" it is something you grind to gamble in the hope you get what you want which is the main issue here. You can grind an endless number of hours and still not get what you want which can be very overwhelming especially for a game whose purpose is entertainment.
Yes, companies such as this exist for profit, we all know this; however, this does not excuse them from exploiting players by preying on our addiction. And even if costs are an issue, they already get enough from the other gambling-inducive marketing practices such as the wheel which they have shown no plans on removing it. Even without these gambling tactics, I'm pretty sure they would still be able to afford the expenses needed.
I am not agreeing the wheel is a good way for them to make money, it's probably one of the worst, but akasha wise, brooch, and other aspect I don't see anything wrong with it at all. If you think wheel itself got them enough for expenses, i highly doubt it. Plus, every mmorpg is RNG/gamble, gears drop stat is rng, you need to gamble with ECs to get the stat you want, you may be lucky get it in few ECs, or hundreds or more. RNG is pretty much the same as gamble, everything is base on probability and luck.

Link above is financial statement of one of the publisher financial statement, they are one of gameforge competitor. They have roughly 350 employees while gameforge have roughly 450 employees. Since gameforge is a private company, they dont provide financial statement to public. So you can read at it, if you want to know the rough estimate expenses see pg 118-120. Those number is in kEUR, so just add another three zero behind, they roughly need atleast 25 millions Euro for just employee + other operating expense, not including there is some other expenses, i didnt bother to read through the whole financial statement.

Well they said chii advancement is Jan. So not sure if part 2 of DH will be released together with chii advancement. I highly doubt it will be together.

I am more surprised is that developer LG that need to write the code from nothing is releasing content faster.
So is translating and ensure there is no bug took longer than writing the code, draw new content stuff, came up with new content stuff? ( and we are talking about translating not multiple language anymore)
This doesn’t make sense at all. How is developer managed to released content every month, while publisher can’t get one content publish every 2 months. I am not even going to say every 1 month anymore.

No worry they just had a code merge recently, the whole purpose is to be able to give us content faster. Same goes for server merge. So instead of 3 months no content, maybe now it become 2 months. :pepega:

Yes, the last new cards that were added with the Chii update, are now available in the normal akasha transmitters.
so is this plastica and Rita rate increase only temporary for current patch? Or permanently increase for neo?
When new cards added on next patch, will the new card have higher rate of getting it on neo? Like how it was done in the beginning.

Yeah so I saw the announcement and did a major WTF.
Why are old original cards being given rate-ups in the neo transmitters??? The prefix NEO literally means NEW!!!
Then there's the question of if Tenebris, Shiho, and Equaleon still going to be neo exclusive as well or are they moving to the regular pool as we should expect with each neo transmitter update? As mentioned above, this is an implicit RATE DOWN on new cards like Tenebris which, even with rate-up, are already almost impossible to roll with how rare they are.
On top of all of this, we are still missing most of the pixel character cards (we have 2/7), GC bosses (only 1 of 5?), Henryk, as well as Arua/Veneris both 4 and 5 star versions. Why are we getting rate-ups on Plastica and Rita instead of NEW cards from the fairly large pool that we are still waiting for??
This whole thing doesn't make sense. Does GF even have the slightest idea what they are doing here?
hope that CM see this and able to pass the message to the team and discuss over it. It make more sense to increase higher rate to get new cards than this new changes.

And what’s point for veteran players that willing to spend for neo to get stupid big plastica and Rita? When pretty much they all have it already?

For real, if they wanna help new players, double the chance to normal akasha. So they can farm normal akasha or if they want fast way can buy straight from premiums shop.And by increasing the chance it getting new card on neo:
Then veteran players that don’t need plastica or Rita anymore, they can straight up buy neo.
In a way it gives two options for different ppl from what they needs. It’s a win-win situation. Let’s see if GF will do anything or keep it the same as now. Hopefully they revert the double chance on neo for plastica and Rita and put it on normal akasha.

Why is gameforge double the chance of big plastica and Rita? Isn’t whole purpose of neo is the new card? By double the chance it big plastica, gameforge is indirectly nerfing the chance of getting the new 5 stars card. Example: if we have 10 type of 5 stars card, if chance of getting all the 5 stars card is the same. It means we have 10% chance it getting each type of 5 stars card. And now by double the chance it big plastica, big plastica became 20% chance and others indirectly got nerf and the chance of getting the other 9 is 8.88% )
Instead of double the chance of neo, why not double the chance of plastica and Rita on normal akasha transmitter? That way it helps new players out. And the make neo have higher chance to get the new card instead.
If neo really stay the same have double the chance of plastica and Rita, it’s better to wait for the new card to be place in normal akasha. The chance of getting is will be higher than stupid neo. Lol

Havent played Erwin, but i know some basics in soloruns. Erwin could have advantage compared to Haru. Not direct DPS-wise (Haru is stronger in raw dmg-output with same stats).
Erwin advantages for soloruns in my pov:
-cheese worm at 70 bars -> trigger boss jump -> use ult (provoke and ecstasy procc, tbh idk how the debuff timings are on erwin, but its free procc)
-cant be bitten?(perfect evasion or how its called) -> cheese provoke
-idk if suicide is a thing with erwin, but as i know, erwin can use a lot of skills during debuff. as haru u suicide two times (cost time) -> results in erwin higher dps uptime
-probably proccing jump at the last 30 bars to get provoke and ecstasy procc (by standing at the stones)

I am talking more toward the score. That time is definitely not fake or anything. I more amazed on that score with speed run 71k score on 4 mins run. I just wonder how the score so low. For Jin it make sense with low score with speed run.
