And you'll find the exact same problem sooner or later, no matter what server you're on. Good luck beeing dumb, must be hard every day
Can you like, not lick gameforge's ass for 5 mins please?
lootboxes are disgusting and are banned in some countries, many companies get a lot of backlash because of them due to the gambling and rng nature, and also human nature "what if this is the one that pays off?" "I got one good item maybe I'll get another..." to counter much of the rng nature a lot of other companies have a system where every milestone of lootboxes (say 5) you open, you get a 100% chance of a good item.

This whole RNG lootbox debate is something I really can't fathom. How is it any company's fault for you to willingly buy lootboxes?! I mean, what the actual fizzle!
It's your choice to spend your money any way you like. Throwing your money at RNG boxes is not Gameforge's or any company's fault for that matter. It's always your own decision. You being easily influenced and thus buying into some 'virtual' probability is not the company's fault. Where is all that BS even coming from? Has this generation of gamers come to the point where we blame everyone else but ourselves!
It's an entirely different matter if loot boxes give you an edge over other players. Players most likely, depending on how good the game is - who aren't willing to pay for these boxes will leave - a dead game!
Also, sure - minors shouldn't be exposed to such early game of hazard - but then yet again, shouldn't your legal guardians be doing sth. in the first place, I don't know - control your online habits?
And you'll find the exact same problem sooner or later, no matter what server you're on. Good luck beeing dumb, must be hard every day

In the first place the clothing items shouldn't have been in lootboxes, they weren't in lootboxes for other versions of the game.. why ours?
It's also stupid that GF does all these things to inconvenience the player, less exp gain and ninja nerfs for example. I can understand why people would want to go to BSW, at least their team are competent in adjusting the game to suit the player and not their wallets.
There's so many bugs in the GF version of soulworker that it's almost unplayable sometimes.

This is the stupidest thing I've read all week!
This is not your decision to make. Again, Lion Games and Gameforge are working together - this is a partnership. How come that all the blame is thrown at Gameforge and not at Lion Games for not setting clearer boundaries/exempting e.g. lootboxes?
Hosting a server nowadays is pretty cheap! What the devs at BSW are doing is not developing, they are stealing already implemented/developed content from a Korean dev team that has, what - 30 employees. How come that supporting people that do absolutely nothing for the further development of Soulworker be a valid suggestion in any shape or form?
Your whole argumentation is pure BS. That's some next level hypocrisy right there.
On one side you claim to love the game but 'understand' people leaving because - the illegal publisher cares more about its players?
How do they show 'understanding' for a game by stealing a chunk of potential players. Private servers are never okay. EVER! Regardless of how bad the publisher/developer might be, stealing the content of someone else is the worst you can do.
Why don't the geniuses at BSW create a new game if their way of doing this is so great and stuff??

Jesus dude, you're delusional af.
I've played a number of mmos including ffxi, ffxiv, tera, bdo etc.
SW is a casual game by design, it's not difficult and if you're willing to spend more money on it you are better at it, simple as that. Almost every single aspect of this game has a p2w style but i'm sure you'll disagree with that instead of responding rationally..
I'm not interested in the current outfit, and also there are none being sold currently, the only one i've noticed be sold was bought for 8b which I am not farming for, considering how useless this game's economy is and GF's inability to fix it.
Yeah, I've grinded the game a ton and let me tell you having rewards based solely on rng is not fun at all. I grinded to full progress for GC on 2 characters, I have big plastica hidden and upgraded without spending any money for it, I think that shows you how much i've grinded.
The whole current argument is that the future is bleak, future costumes which look nice are more than likely going to be put into lootboxes, in fact i'd be surprised if ever future costume wasn't in a lootbox from now on considering how much GF made off of scamming people. Yes, lootboxes are a scam especially SW's.
Also not even talking about the content, the current updates we've had are laughable at best what i'd like is a similar version to KR with the same exp gain, same drop rates etc, not this bs lowered rate so we spend more time uselessly grinding.

Again your argumentation makes no sense!
You are not better at Soulworker when you spend more money! This goes against the whole RNG debate we, or I at least thought, were discussing! Spending more money ONLY - pls don't spout nonsense - generates a higher chance of 'better' items. Buying 100 Akasha cubes might give you 100-5Star cards or it might also give you 100-2Star Cards. That is chance.
---
Actually it doesn't show your "grind"! Chance, who knows you might have opened three akashas and received 3 Hidden Big Plastica or you might have opened over 200 hundred. You should probably revisit your comment before posting it - so your chain of thought makes sense.
---
"More than likely" - so you don't know it, right? This is your only argument? Costumes. Again, they don't break the game. You can buy costumes through the cash shop (spend real money) or grind. You know, to show your support for the game.

How is Gameforge scamming anyone? Holy fizzle ... Could you be any more shallow with your choice of words?
See, you don't even give proper examples for your argumentation. You just throw some words around.
So, loot boxes are a scam but SW are especially scammy! So what now? There are lootboxes which are less of a scam? Are they slightly more scammy than other games lootboxes which are also scammy but not super scammy? /s

Soulworker has been out since 2015. You want content that has been developed for three years straight in a year because we are some very special snowflakes., right? But what then? What will Gameforge do when everything was given to its players? Develop sth on the spot? Since we all know that's their forte. Or ask Lion Games, the AAA studio which has so many people working for them?
Could the mods please hire this guy! He clearly knows the intricacies of online games!

In all seriousness though, please think before posting. Gameforge isn't your enemy here. They've brought a game to the West and they are actually - not like BSW - supporting a game, we - or at least I am quite fond of. I'd rather have a 'bad' publisher support a great game than have a private server which does absolutely nothing for the game's future!
I've had my fare share of problems with Gameforge myself. But despite all that I still play their games. If you hate them so much, you don't have to play the game. But I get tired of these threads bashing Gameforge or any publisher for not doing it the way I (the very special player) want it.
And this is coming from someone who has been playing Gameforge games for 8 years despite the problems I've had with them. And I ensure you, I've had them all from deleted account to in-game-currency loss. I've learned and moved on - maybe you should do the same and leave them if it angers you to that extent.
