That's because GF earn money off cosmetics lmao.

But I really like the new winter outfits. I first saw the splash art and I fell in love with it. Not paying a dime to gameforge though :P

Not necessarily as protest, just that I'm a freebie player.

Hello there, while we cannot give you yet a date, we can share with you the content of the next update:

it will include the second part of Dipluce Horizon and as for bugfixes, we are trying to have all the skills of Iris properly done within the same patch.

So the 2nd part of Diplcue include only the districts or will there be raids or some other things?

You could always tell what channel your teammates are in. It's just that remotely long names had it cut off because of excessive length. More of a bug fix than a new feature.

BTW, do anyone know what the code merge was for? Like which version branches were being merged in the first place? And for what exactly?

Shion is best name, and I still call suzie shion even though I never played the other servers.

Luke III is a horrible name, not because its Luke but the 3 at the end. Is he the 3rd person in a row in his family to be named Luke?

While I don't think there should be name changes, but here are ones I think are decent changes(as in I prefer them over the original KR or even JP)

Seoni, Maverick, Nathan, Ravan, Godren, Avon, Dusty, Veneris, Greywell, and Deleska

And ones that I prefer they switch back to original:

Benjy, Clack, Glain, Gwen, Poy, Scral, Bamz, Hel, Selene, Luke III, medo, Lisbee, Suzie, Mister-O-Mat, Nael

and finally Shade because the name Brock makes more sense dialogue wise.

Wiat, how do you trade soulcash? I never understood how one can do that.

    LMAO, that screenshot, GJ Horori

Btw, I spent 100 million. I'm not super rich so this is a lot of money. 66% of my fortune to be exact. But I always wanted this hair and I haven't seen it on sale for ages. I contemplated for the whole day rather if I should buy it or not.

Its a touch choice, I don't see this hair on sale all too often on the market and I just so happened to have the money this time around. IDK when someone will sell it again so I decided that, I can spend 2 weeks and farm back the 100 million, but I can't guarantee that I find another person selling the hair for another month if not more.

It wasn't hard for me to gear up.... I don't understand what the complaint is.

My character is old so I didn't even get a free aurith set. You new players have it easy. I had to farm my Shion and Aurith set, which mind you were way harder back in the day. I take a break from the game and come back to find out these are inadequate for AoV and still needed to get carried.

Upgrade your Aurith/Terminus set to +6/7 at minimum so you don't die. +9 is obviously better but if you are short on materials, then i don't think it is required. You'll still need a carry regardless if its +9 or not. And if they are willing to carry, +6 or +9 makes little difference. Just make sure to buy healing gel/jelly and farm the peta mediqube in Grasscover/Diplcue horizon manic so you can overdose on them when being carried.

Ideally, you should go get Primal but people rarely do primal anymore so farming primal gear is going to be tough. But if you do have Primal gear, you can do AoV a lot easier. If you do find people doing primal, make sure you know how the raid works and listen to their instructions. Primal requires more coordination than AoV unless everyone is OP. TBH this is the long way, but you shouldn't be too dependent on others to carry you in AoV, so get Primal gear if possible.

Alternatively, stare at the team search all day and request to join every single AoV manic party available. People usually do it after the Gronco buff, so log in during that time and leech.

Eventually you'll get accepted and you'll get carried. Upgrading your Aurith is required so you don't die since you get 3 respawns, and if you die too much you are just wasting people's time.

Also, don't buff/heal the boss when you have the glowing ball over your character. Heck, don't risk attacking with melee skills if you have the red ball just to be safe.

There's plenty of nice people around willing to carry, so just ask for help. When you get geared yourself, you can then return the favor.

Umm for new characters its there but after a certain point in the story the kid with the baseball bat in front of the apartment/school/orphanage or something disappears.

I first noticed it on my Chii, but when I looked on my Haru who was higher level, he was still there. Then one day I came back and he's gone.

Is it a bug? This isn't important at all but confused lol.

He was never part of the main storyline quest. Only main storyline quest characters disappear for story reasons... In fact he gives out side quests, so it makes no sense that he'll be removed at some point in the game because you won't be able to complete those quests.

    what happened.PNG

I used all my grutin gold to buy anti-destruct and at this point alt-farming seems to be the only other way to get them quickly lol.

I had about 250 anti-destruct before I started upgrading my AoV stuff and 80mil, now i'm like 30 mil and barely any anti-destruct.

I also was running dry on primary aetherite despite been dismantling everything since I started playing the game. Luckily I got a bunch for cheap recently but I'm just saving it for upgrade event.

But yea, glad AoV gear is transferable. I can't imagine doing this for every character. RIP.

When is the next upgrade weekend? A estimate is fine, so I know how long I need to wait lol.

So far I've upgraded my weapons like over 100 times and no +9. I'm running out of anti-destructs and my Chest and shoulder isn't even +8 yet. My chest have gone through 40+ attempts already trying to go +7 to +8.

Since i'm running dry on mullah and materials, I'm just waiting for anything to increase the odds since I can't just brute force it with sheer dzenai/resource alone.

Well I hope it is before the next major update, so I can get my stats up before new raids are released.

I'm not supporting the delays but people have been saying 'the game is dead' or 'the game is going to die before X.' And every time we have like several updates after said X and still not dead.

Can the fear mongering stop? All that does is scare new players away while gameforge don't give a damn.

I'm a f2p and I have managed to get to 63 and AoV gear without quitting. I took a break from the game for 2-3 months during the summer since I got burnt out but came back.

As for dz, I started with about 80-90 mil when I came back, now I'm down to 30mil from upgrading alone. Earned a bit back though. I'm fairly satisfied with the new updates since coming back.

I gave up trying to keep pace back then because EC and WUC were so difficult to get. Now it is actually reasonable for me to do it and not spend a single dime.

It's a good change and GF won't be losing much money. Those that won't spend, will not spend money on the game regardless of how p2w it is, they'll just leave and the game gradually dies from low population. Those that will purchase stuff will do it regardless, either for costumes or other miscellaneous stuff.

THIS IS FOR GAMEFORGE VERSION ONLY.

Do you think this game is truly grindy? I seen a lot of people complain but very few defend it. But it might be a vocal minority. Although at this point, mostly veterans hang around the forums, so it might be biased as those that stayed have higher tolerance.

Regardless, I am curious on what you all think and your reasons.

Pick tedious if you think it is boring, not fun, and annoying. Long is just time wise, you can have fun along(not tedious) the way, but it takes too long. Pick both if its both.

You can give more detailed answer in a reply, I think I gave more than enough options. Although endgame gear might be a bit contentious. I'm thinking of +7 AoV atm. Although some might consider simply getting AoV set is endgame gear. But I don't want to add like 3 more options for upgrading specifically to a already long list of options.

I restrict the poll to be visible to only those that vote to minimize mob mentality and answers swaying your judgement. So please don't read replies until you have voted.

You can't change votes, to avoid having your decision swayed from replies. I want to know your opinion as you experienced it, not what others made you think.

Lastly, I want you all to reply what you think the optimum time it should take to reach max level, grind for endgame gear, and the time it takes to upgrade it. And maybe you can provide a estimate of how long it actually took you.

Endgame gear grind can be based on back when lv55 was cap, and you are trying to get Shion, Aurith, or Primal. Or based on AoV grind. They all were once endgame gear, so if you played it back in those times, it is fine to base your judgement from those.

    I haven't had much issues.

The server is unstable though. They go down at random times although only for an hour or so. Not too frequent, but the fact it is happening hints at unstable servers. No other games I play have issues like that.

In terms of lag, once in a blue moon and only for a short time. I play fairly regularly so. Maybe my tolerance is much higher than other people... Or my generally favorable experience is what kept me in this game for so long in the first place.

Although GF version still have loads of issues that no other game I played have, which just hints at poor management, even if the issues don't bother me that badly.

lmao WUT "The thirst for blood overpowered the cat creature. Aruel became its next victim."

You can't make a better parody than this even if you try. How the hell did they manage to twist saving Aurel to eating her? The way they describe it too, it is hilarious.

Also I was one day planning on listing all the errors in the translation but at some point I gave up. GF please play your own game and just read the dialogue. It really doesn't take that much effort.
