Assuming it was just me and a Stella in a party, I don't get hit enough to justify her staying in heal mode the whole fight. Break that SA for me pls, that way I can unleash my wombo combos without fear.

If the reset never happened, people would just successvely roll over 100 EP every day on alts, and have thousands of stamina to spend during events with limited time drops or rewards. This basically punishes players who actively play all their characters each week.

Rollover is already a concept that doesn't exist in many other games with fatigue systems; if there was no reset, I don't see why they bother with a fatigue system at all.

Edit: Its been brought to my attention that rollover EP caps at around 600. This kinda makes my argument lose steam, so I actually agree that the reset is unnecessary.

AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE 90% WILL RESET ALL ACCOUNTS

But no,now they say we won't reset it.

    Congratulations, you've been successfully jebaited.

I need you to link the CM, Admin, Mod, or official statement that supports this percentage, otherwise I can only assume you bought into hearsay from some group of stooges. In which case its your own fault.

And now, this is a MMO with pvp system,

With my experience on the other server,i can't tell you a single level may give players lot of difference.

    Like,54 can't use the 55 level's legendy equipment.

Yes Shirou, when people are level 54, they can't wear lvl 55 gear. This is what we call level requirement and progression. "I can't wear the level 55 gear but that guy can because he started playing before me!" isn't a valid argument in any way.

Feels like lose lot of thing, like my ID maybe token, lot of vitamin, blalala.

Fortune favours the bold. We who decided to play from day 1 took the risk of having hours of our time and life wasted by the wipe. Now we're rewarded by being ahead in having money, gear, progress, and game experience.

Sure bruh. Then let me answer. I feel like people who get on the forums and post random passive-aggressive BS about something caused by their own unwillingness to take risks are pretty dumb.

    P.S:

I never said OP is one of the people on the forums.

    Look.

I'm playing this game because Ilike a challenge. I like things to be mind-bogglingly difficult, because I feel that much better when I beat it.

SoulWorker is not mind-bogglingly difficult. But it is challenging enough that I don't feel like I was handed the boss kill along with my bib and baby formula.

This game is not Dark Souls level of bullshittery; its very fair in how bosses telegraph their attacks, and most can be easily handled as long as you anticipate whats happening next.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is...

I feel your pain but you gotta tag this thread spoilers m8.

Erwin specializes in high consistent bossing damage, and is very very mobile compared to other characters. His attacks have focused hitboxes and require some aiming with the crosshair. He sometimes struggles with mobbing because of this, but when played right is nigh untouchable.

Haru is an all-rounder; she does decent in everything but isn't the best at anything, and this is both good and bad. Her attacks have decent attack and SA break, and are very useful for mobbing, but don't do anything special for bosses. She is sturdier than Erwin but on average does less DPS than him.

Isn't arena rush kinda meh since the increase is only to your base attack?

Yes you are right, the increase is only to your base attack., so this is actually a good question. The answer to it is, its debatable.

This is using my Haru with a +6 Chemical Cutter.

Normal state without Arena Storm buff:

And now with a lvl 3 (+12%) Arena Storm:

    SWScreenShot_2018030400-44-51_zps0riqziiv.jpg

Repeated multiple times with same result, no variations: min attack increase of 60 and max attack increase of 76. The increase in the grand scheme of things is tiny compared to just having a +6 weapon, so it obviously seems a little lackluster. However, considering that a clean Chemical Cutter has an attack of around 670-780, the increase is much more noticeable.

Also, keep in mind this affects your party members as well. So you're looking at anywhere from 2-8 times the effectiveness on your party's attack as a whole.

In short, its not that Arena Rush is meh, but its effects pale in comparison to in increase from upgrades, and proper scaling stats like crit. That being said, any boost is a good boost, so I would recommend it be maxed unless you really wanna use those points somewhere else.

Great guide! Have it book marked and the tips have helped a bunch.

I do have a question that is...semi unrelated? Do we get a free reset on our skills when awakening is released? Or do I have to plan my build ahead of time?

Tbh no idea how its going to work on our side. I believe the advancement is enough of a game changer that it warrants a skill reset for existing characters, but it depends on how Gameforge plays it out. I expect, however, that it will be a while before advancement is released, and its a huge waste saving the extra skill points until then.

If you want to save the skill points to be sure, follow the 60 build path, rerouting skill points as necessary. It takes exactly 30 skill points to max all the Haru stuff you get from advancement; so plan out your 55 build making sure to spend exactly 123 skill points and no more.

Edit: I added a sample level 55 build that assumes you get no resets when level 60 cap and job advancement drops. This build allows you to get all of Haru's advancement skills/extensions maxed without using any resets.

Later on that skill is not even part of your main rotation.

So yes I do think the extension is worth it for when you need the healing.

Just because you have a stella in your party it doesnt mean this can't be useful

I can think of a few scenarios in which it would come in handy + Steel graves.

Tbh it's not like Lily is lacking dmg to need like plus 200% on one single skill, meanwhile having a skill that can almost full heal you can save your life in a lot of situations.

I guess I've just gotten used to living without self heals on Haru. I haven't really tried using it in higher levels, but it does make sense that the heal would scale better with Lily's huge attack scaling.

Tbh I don't like this extension. It halves the damage you do with Grim Countdown and heals a fraction of that halved damage back. I'd honestly rather use potions or my pocket Stella for heals, rather than use valuable skill points to nerf a skill to do the same thing pots or Stella can.

You could argue that when you have a higher crit rate and good gear, this may be useful to sustain in raids and whatnot, but you should always have a Stella with you in raids anyway, so...

Great guide! I plan to play every character and this was really helpful in understanding Haru.

Three of the pictures aren't working properly. Advancement, Hysteria, and Awakening.

Also, do we know when we're getting the Advancements? Or are they already in?

    Glad to hear it helped!

I was linking those images directly from the JP wiki, and they show up fine for me, but I think depending on where you're located it may not display correctly. I've updated the image URLs, you should be able to see them now.

Also yeah, no ETA on advancement, and I'd expect it to take a while. Still, I don't expect the details to change much when it finally arrives, so its up here for whenever we get it!

    Exclusive Beta Items

Naturally you will also receive a reward for your help; all beta players will receive the following exclusive beta items at release:

    • 1x Exclusive open beta title: 'Active Beta Tester’ (in-game character title)
    • 1x Darling Outfit (for the character of your choice)
    • 1x Hellanko Akasha Card (rare version of the normal Hellanko card)
    • 10x Bonus Keycard
    • 3x Power Vitamin
    • 5x Respawner

This means the game release, a.k.a official launch. A.k.a not now.

More EP would be nice, but unlikely. This system has been in place across all versions, I dont see any reason it would change.

The bonus of 50% carryover is already quite generous tbh. A lot of other games dont have carryover at all. I would like to see some sort of bonus for carrryover or extra EP on weekends though. Maybe through login rewards for EP boosters?

I totally agree on daily ressurections. I like a challenge and all but getting 1 shotted due to an unlucky call is kinda sad, especially since no characters have ress skills.
