I don't think there is any reason to be so negative at this point in time. The game has not even been launched yet, why are we talking about dying servers? For now you should focus on the things you have to look forward to, and not speculate about what might or might not happen in a distant future.
Just look at this forum. There are already 1700 accounts before there even is a game, and it's not like this board has been heavily promoted. And in general forums are not as popular as they used to be back in the day anymore. So there certainly is a fair amount of interest in this game. I would not worry about dying servers yet.
