After what LG wrote on their Facebook page, I'm fairly certain that they are the ones who decided not to transfer the user data. I don't think that trying to convince Gameforge of a data transfer will result in anything. LG are the ones blocking them and what should Gameforge's interest be to convince LG otherwise? There is no incentive for them. Also, since they are used to migrating account data from other publishers, I'm certain that performing a migration would not have been too difficult for them and that it is indeed LG who is blocking the migration (and as I said before - LG said so themselves).

Which means: you, or rather we, need to convince LG somehow that a data transfer is beneficial to them and is worth the effort and money that they would have to put into it. And they won't read this forum so it would have to be on Facebook or their forum, if they have one.

Yep, I absolutely agree, they should double check it (I hope they only ban when they're 100% sure anyway...).
I just wanted to say that we should also consider the possibility that GF is right

Edit: if you receive millions/billions of Dzenai from an unknown source, just poke GF and ask them whether they can confirm that it is from a legit source. Best case: you can keep it. Worst case: it's removed but you are not banned (no gain, no loss).

Lets be honest though, they (the players) probably wouldn't admit using hacks/abusing bugs if they really used them.
I'm not saying that Gameforge didn't make a mistake, but just because people claim that they haven't used cheats/hacks/used bugs/whatever doesn't mean they are right.
In another game, one of my guild members got banned and claimed that Gameforge declined to tell him why they banned him. Turned out later that he had bought gold...

I don't think that GF sees any money but that the money is charged back.

Also, let us all please keep in mind that these bots only exist because there are players who are buying from them. These people are the real problem. If you know someone is buying dzenai or suspect someone of it, report them. Don't go into instances with them, make other people in your guilds clear that you don't support this kind of behaviour. They are the ones who are ruining the game for everyone by a) causing inflation and b) being the reason for the bots' existence. Also, if GF should end up making less money, they will probably try to compensate this somehow, e.g. higher prices and stupid mini-games ('events') with awesome prices that make people throw their money at them...

You can choose an account name if you sign up through their portal website otherwise you'll be given a random name.

What you can try: log in on gameforge.com with the account details you're using in the SoulWorker launcher. Then go to Account Settings. There you should be able to change your Gameforge account name.

Also consider "GMs" would still be voluntaries. At least that's how it was in the past with GF. Those don't get paid so you can't exactly order them around to be entertainers unless they are willing to do so. To be honest, I don't really see the need for GMs anyway. There is a support ticket system, that should be able to handle most of the requests.

For all their MMOs (except Metin2) GF actually doesn't use voluntaries. GMs = Customer Support Representatives, i.e. paid employees. But yeah, I agree, there's no real need for GMs in the game. Except they make a fun event though I also don't really see what kind of event they could do in SW.

If you plan out an event in detail, it's more likely to actually make it into the game (e.g. which map, level requirement, what has to be done to qualify for a reward, what is the reward etc.). Especially stuff like "Fight the GM" is something Gameforge should be able to do without having to rely on the developer creating special scripts/NPCs/... for them, so it shouldn't be a huge problem to realise :) Though I don't know how much power GMs in SW have.

Anything that would require Lion Games to create sth new is less likely to be put into the game because Gameforge has to evaluate it, then they can send it to LG, and then they will have to evaluate it, program it, and THEN it might see the light of day. There are much more hurdles though that doesn't mean a well put together event won't make it into the game.

(That's from my experiecen and, well, logic)

The "FtpOpenFile" message is actually a problem that occurs when sending the error report, not the error that made the game crash, as far as I know.

You can create a dxdiag and at the bottom of it are crash reports, one of which should be for SoulWorker (maybe somebody else knows how to access these reports without having to create a dxdiag?). There you can see some information as to why the game crashed. If this information and google don't help you, you'll have to contact support:
    https://soulworker.support.gameforge.com/

It's not possible to link Steam and Gameforge Launcher accounts at the moment :( They want to add this feature in the future, but for now you have to stick to the platform you created your account on (or create a new account on the other platform).

When you make a new character on a new account your titles don't carry over to your other accounts BUT it clearly states '' the other characters on your account earn additional XP and/or primary or secondary titles when they are created or progress''

I don't know if your wording is just wrong, but what you wrote doesn't make sense. In your first sentence you are complaining that you don't get the effects from your lvl 55 char on a character on another, new account? Of course not, it's only on the account and server you're currently on.
If you mean that the effect isn't active on your other characters on the same account and server as your lvl 55 character, make a screenshot of it, that the symbols don't show up etc., and better send it to support because I've seen screenshots from other players who are saying that it works.

The guild master has to change his guild's privacy settings so they can show up in the guild list. They don't just all show up there, so maybe this is why many guilds aren't listed there.

As to the original problem, I think this has been fixed with the fix for the guild name length?

It's not possible. It's planned for the future that website and steam accounts can be linked, but there is no way to do it at the moment. And support also can't help. The only way to change the platform is by starting a new account ;/ (I asked support already)

Edit: They also said that they don't have an ETA for when this feature will be implemented :(
