I don't even really need to make a comment but your second point is exactly why your first point is wrong.

Not really, we've got a discussion in our guild and people said that the one/two week ban is fine for them. I think the problem is the leftover dzenai

Fair enough but on NA where everyone is already feeling extra mistreated by GF the conversations go a bit differently.

In my opinion the one/ two week bans are the right decision

Another point is that gameforge banned almost everyone who played the game active and the people are switching server

I don't even really need to make a comment but your second point is exactly why your first point is wrong. The people that were banned were some of the most dedicated active players, and with the way conversations have been on discord about switching server, this is seriously the wrong time to ban these people for something that should have been solved through a rollback and moved on from.

The ban should be done, cause there was actually abusing by players, but there is a but if you wanna do a ban wave atleast do a rollback with it for solve totally the issue, people will get punished (for your mistake in first place, I remember that threea said there will be no more bugs on patch notes but we got this bug, stella is broken and problems with run in city with some Chara) isn't not only fault of your players but also from your side because you really don't test nothing got patch translate and slap in it. But yeah the click and sell was done by our players so the ban is actually right, but there is always a but now the ones that played smart won :). As already said Keita there are back side effect, so rollback was needed. So yeah that's all

I actually disagree with the ban. This wasn't a typical duplication glitch. This was an item that Gameforge allowed into the game which was valued more than you could buy it for at Xivus. It was a new item so a lot of people noticed it and considering it was a new item Gameforge should have checked it out in bug testing before the patch.

Remember this patch was delayed extra long so that there would be no issues? Cuz I do.

Anyway many people began to profit off of buying and selling that item in a loop. They also spread it all over social media including the new Soulworker discord. This lead many others to do the same thing as well. "Hey this is a good way to make money try it!!!" etc. Trade loops are often common in games, though to be fair there is usually more work involved. Either way, this is Gameforge's fault, and instead of rolling back all the damage that was done, they did nothing to actually fix the fallout and banned players for taking what was essentially bait dangled right in their face.

I spent all day leveling a Chii to 55 yesterday and even I am advocating for a rollback because of the damage this exploit has caused. Banning people just made it worse now because of the sheer number of people affected, mostly older players, who may never come back at this point. 2 weeks away from an MMO is a long time and they're probably just going to move to the forbidden server out of sheer spite to Gameforge. A lot of us were on the fence already.

Servers should be rolled back and bans lifted. A good compromise would be to rollback to around noon US eastern time which was a few hours after servers opened. This way many would still have the Chiis they created, just not quite as far along but it's well before the exploit had caused any damage.

So after the exploit from yesterday the 'solution' was to ban like 50% of your most active players instead of rolling back? What kind of a solution is this?

The market took MAJOR damage yesterday. Only a rollback would fix this.

Many of the players who exploited the bug sent dz to other players/accounts or bought tons of items off the market. The people who received exploited dz GOT TO KEEP THE DZ and all the items that were purchased are kept as well even if it was purchased by a banned account. Only a rollback would fix this.

This also means that people who were selling on the market for ridiculous prices and making BILLIONS IN MINUTES get to keep their billions bought by exploited dz. Again, only a rollback would fix this.

So instead of a proper fix to what was the single biggest economic blow in the history of our server, the solution was a massive ban wave? So now we have both a massively screwed economy + a huge chunk of the most active players are now banned.

How could anybody defend solving things this way? We need a rollback as quick as possible. The longer we go without one the more permanent the damage you guys are causing yourselves.

This is probably the most serious issue we've ever faced on this server and cannot go ignored.

Man even your streamers are so upset with the way you've been handling this title that they just resort to name-calling you since rational argument/reasoning has gone nowhere huh?

Remember we went all summer without any real content. Is this ever going to turn around, or are we just going to be lied to about wanting to "speed up content releases" while KR gets further and further ahead? Yeah Chii is great and all but she means nothing to those who don't care to play her as a class and anyone who does care to play her already has elsewhere. Now we're told Dipluce is months away (which should have been here mid summer tbh), and we still have no sign of corrupted records or primal hero. We didn't even get all the new akashas yet either which would have been incredibly simple to have ported by now if you weren't trying to do the greedy strategy of little by little adding them to the pool. That trick is just straight up grimy.

At this point name-calling seems to be all we have left as we find alternative ways to enjoy this game.

You guys did this to yourselves.

The 'immense work' excuse isn't even valid because Lion Games has already written the code. Merging it in with our client is not something that should take anywhere near as long as writing the code in the first place. As a programmer myself I'm not really buying it. Something else is going on that is not being disclosed to us.

    Very soon! ;)

What's the freaking point of this answer lol

Just give us a release date.. or are you afraid of other delays? kek

Entering the middle of September and STILL not having a date probably just means they don't know when she'll be ready. Considering there's only another 2 weeks in the month after this week it's pretty concerning. We really should be able to have a date by now.

Is the coordination between LG and GF really so bad we can't get reliable release info yet?

Speaking about other servers is VERY IMPORTANT and there most certainly is a point to it. Not sure what Albus was thinking tbh, he's wrong on that point.

We need to compare ourselves to other versions so that Gameforge knows what to do to make our version just as good if not better than the others (tbh we shouldn't have to do this but for some reason GF needs to learn). If we're able to draw comparisons where the ultimate conclusion is that other servers have done something better then this is unacceptable!!! We can't pretend these other servers don't exist because in reality they do and if they're doing things better there's a good chance we will lose players to them. It's called being competitive. I could understand if GF had a monopoly on SW then they could do whatever they want, but they do not have a monopoly therefore they must compete. Economics 101 right here.

The only reason to shut down discussion of other servers would be fear from GF that for some reason they cannot do better and therefor they don't want the player base knowing the differences. But for 1) that won't work, we all talk on Discord outside of this forum anyway and 2) why not step it up and actually do what it takes to be the best version? Is it really that hard? You guys are supposed to be a professional company with the resources to do some of these very basic things that make the players happy (ie reasonable content release schedule as well as frequent and ACCURATE information about future updates).

Lastly this thread is all because of a previous thread where someone linked a professional website JP SW had setup teasing Chii's incoming release. The question basically was why can't we have something like this too? Seriously why not? So far we don't even have an official release date but we're all assuming Sept 10 (only 1 week away) because the announcement of the current event being extended until then. We also had a tweet claiming Chii will be "on time in September", yet she was originally scheduled for August, and we don't have a specific September date yet either. So how can you even claim on time if we haven't been given an official release date and the original release month has since passed? This kind of dishonest community engagement makes it feel like we're being mocked instead of informed. Please clear this up!!

You do understand people discriminate against low geared players already right? Everyone is so impatient with the terrible drop rates that nobody wants their runs slowed down by under-geared players anyway so what you're concerned about has absolutely nothing to do with time attack. Plus the addition of the NPC loyalty system was a big step in alleviating this problem. And you also understand that time attack is a different game mode too? It will not affect regular traditional runs. In time attack, AoV for example doesn't even have a mobbing phase, it's just boss.

Now if your concern is that under-geared players won't be invited to time attack runs... so what? Time attack is for geared players trying to compete. If you don't have the gear to compete you should be farming something else and working on your gear so that eventually you can compete.

Not adding content meant for veterans because noobs can't handle it yet is one of the most destructive mindsets we could have. If anyone NEEDS content right now it's the veterans.

Bumping this thread because it's still a major issue and only continues to get worse.

Is Gameforge really going to give the shaft to the few remaining people on NA? Is this really a way to treat dedicated players? This failure to do what's right is currently driving some of the most notorious players to the other server and taking all their friends with them. It's a massive screw-up on Gameforge's part unless they actually wanted an NA exodus.

I don't think ranking would improve game. They should strengthen team work not make it competitive. Like this they are going to make a bigger hole between beginners and veterans. That would be fatal for all new 55-60 players. Now already it's fairly hard to find party in short time outside of guild.

I understand your concern but I don't see how this would hurt players that can't compete yet. It's basically a separate mode and doesn't interfere with regular gameplay. Also veteran players are extremely bored right now. Most are only logging in to collect daily rewards if even logging in at all while they wait for something worth doing. If there was one single thing we could add to the game to give veteran players a reason to keep playing, this is it.

Either way time attack is coming, it's just a matter of how soon.

its not like CR is big content where you can improve your gear. If they would give us time rankings, it would be at least worth running

Yeah time rankings would actually give people a reason to play again.

Somebody found CR files in game data's.

They've been there for a long time. It means nothing. That said it's likely we get CR soon, but the data in the game files still doesn't really mean anything.

Until they remove Jin's cowardly free deposits the rift will always be a joke.

tbh the deposit system shouldn't exist in the first place, or at least the time to deposit should be reduced to 1 second.

In the short term they should shut down NA and provide transfers to EU.

In the mid-long term they should be finding another publisher to pass the rights to as their poor management is going to lead to the death of the EU server as well.

Also I didn't vote because I don't think the game should shut down but I don't think there's hope with GF either after an entire summer of no content and a delay of literally every single small patch on their roadmap so far. They clearly can't handle publishing this title.

Agreed. They should have had at least double the crafting limits to begin with. I finished my crafts within 2 weeks. The amount of time spent farming / reward ratio was actually very fair so kudos on that, but we were severely limited on crafting and didn't even have tag transmitters in the craft pool.

Extending this event even further without raising craft limits just seems incredibly careless.
