Well ill be honest. The server issues I can deal with, its beta first launch whatever term you want to use.

What turned me off after day 2 was this wipe issue clouded my personal game experience. I like spending my time on things I know I'm not wasting time on. Im not young anymore. So i Stopped logging in and then picked up Vermintide 2 and started playing Closers and killing Tiamat again. Not sure once they announce wipe or no wipe if I will come back. Honestly prob not. I'm sure I'm not alone with this feeling.

What a botched 2 hr notice if beta launch for this game that I felt had so much promise...

Yes. It seems very strange now if they don't wipe. The silence, all the server issues, etc.

Please just announce that wipe(s) are coming so we all can just move on about thinking on this.

    Thanks.

I'm guessing most peoples idea of P2W is different than mine.

Exp boosts, cosmetics, costumes, items that are not better than in game things, etc. are not P2w elements.

Pay 2 win means you are paying money to win the game...auto clears, stat advantages over in game to win in PvP, those things.

I am going to stop reading this thread I think people just don't understand P2W. Mods please close.

I don't doubt any of these pts. I agree they need to make money.

However I fall into the category that if you can buy items in a store that provide stat advantages over others it actually makes me spend zero not more...

I'm glad I asked these questions and this was talked about bc I had no idea. I thought the game didn't have this. Oh well always other games coming up...

I know closers does...why I had hope for soulworker...I am only playing closers as a temp thin until soulworker comes out...

This news though has completely changed my thoughts...sigh...

    Hi,

Never played overseas and had some more questions on the game. Thanks in advance.

1-Are there reputations/factions that you grind up to unlock things like cosmetics, gear, etc.?

2-Are customes/gear looks unlocked in some type of interface like a wardrobe or do you need to keep everything to be able to wear it?

3-Follow up on #2 do you have cosmetic slots or a way to make better gear look like something else easily?

4-Are there many one shot mechanics from bosses/end game things? What I mean is do high end content have ways to "execute" you if you don't do something like move to a pt, or dodge a skill etc.? One thing I don't like about end game closers is the massive amount of execute abilities from bosses end game NA.

5-Do you have enough slots for all your abilities, potions ,etc.? I ask because in Closers you run out fast and need to buy more slots on a separate bar which is annoying to me.

    Thanks!

I would be shocked if we don't find out most of the important details early next week. Like some have said. An announcement/tease usually indicates details coming about something.

My guess is steam page, website page, OBT date and editions/packs you can purchase to support the game early on.

I also would guess at this point release of OBT would be sometime mid to late march.

As someone else said.. what can possibly take them so long anyway? I have zero knowledge about publishing a game but it's not like they had to build it from scratch. The only thing they need to do is translate the text(?). Is that what is taking them so long?
I am confused and impatient. qq

If I had to guess the most important thing they are considering is that they "have one chance at launch" and they want to do there best to make sure its the best it can be.

Its a good idea. I would suggest waiting until you see there full website launch just in case they include a wiki on it. Two spots never work well for wiki information.

Some games have both ways for what you're buying.

Example closers has packs in steam so steam wallet. Then the in game uses EMP store creds which is purchased through enmasse.
