That button does not show up in threads, only in forums. Maybe you're looking for it in here for example, that won't work.
General Discussion for example would be the forum this thread here is written in, you can have a feed for this forum but not for this thread here. So in the forum you should see that button, in a thread you won't.
In case you're using the forum via mobile phone or any other mobile device: in the mobile view these buttons are also not there.

In every category, forum, sub-forum you will find this button in the top right corner of the content area.
In general the feed convention of this forum software is https://forum.soulworker.gameforge.com/forum/board-feed/
You can also get a feed link to a specific forum by adding it's forum id. The forum id is the number in the url, so for example the feed link for the whole news area would be https://forum.soulworker.gameforge.com/forum/board-feed/2/
