It should be removed completely. These kinds of systems shouldn't exist in western releases, and history has shown that the most popular western online games don't have these. Restricting people from progressing due to some daily limiter has no place in online gaming, and it's really a big issue on the mobile market.

If for whatever reason we can't have it removed, it needs to be reworked. There should not be a system that completely stops you from playing on your character that day. Instead, if you energy reaches 0 it'd be better to reduce rewards gained. An example of this would be a reduction of 30~40% of EXP, money, and item drops earned. This would allow people to keep playing as much as they want, while also having people with excess energy from rollovers to always get the most out of their playtime.

Also; for anyone arguing about hitting max level too fast...that's not at all how games like this work. Hitting cap level is only the start of the real grind where you're at the mercy of RNG for gear drops or having to plan out raids or other end game content. Not to mention, hitting level cap doesn't remove energy costs. You'll still be at the mercy of limited entries, and it's obvious how much frustration this can create when farming for specific gear.

I don't know what game people are playing when they say they don't have to grind at all. The first grind wall shows up around Tower of Greed where you might be a level off from continuing and have to backtrack into a manic mission. I've run into others in Candus, but there is a noticeable gap in exp to content level that can require some grinding.

To be honest, I wouldn't care about the exp problem if we didn't have an energy system. Having to spend my entries for the day on straight grinding a previous mission is not fun. If I didn't have to worry about energy, I wouldn't care about grinding missions to reach that next level. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who auto-teams and normally doesn't run Manic without 3~4 people whenever backtracking is needed for quests.

If its intended it should have been implemented in the 1st place...

If its temporary the should have made an announcement before hand.

I completely agree. IP Blocks should always be added before public access, and there should be a reason given. Simply blocking people out suddenly without a word said is a terrible move and will start to develop into communication and transparency issues.

I'd imagine the overloaded servers were the trigger for starting the IP blocking, but if it was already on the table to begin with...they should have told the community.

I'm not even a SEA player and I'm disappointed with how this is being handled.

No doubt they are trying to trim the number of players to take some load off the servers, or that there might be some paperwork that is pushing them to remove support for certain regions.

IP blocks are nothing new and usually have good reasons for them. Either to keep people in their own region's publisher for licensing reasons, or to help control server population and limit it to the expected region's playerbase just as quick examples. Either this is temporary solution, or they intend to go through with this as a permanent block. If it's permanent, than I'm sure that this was done for Smilegate's benefit of SEA servers.

I also posted about this a few days ago.

    Exclusive Beta Items?

Really hope they do something about it. Personally I'm hoping for them to make it a server limit, rather than account limit for distributing it. So you can claim it once on each server, mainly for those of us who picked EN due to NA not even showing up at times...

Since I can't seem to get the support pages to work for account verification, I thought I'd ask here and maybe see what other community members think...

It's no secret that the NA server has been blowing up, and early yesterday actually blew up. I downloaded the game on Steam at about 2:13PM PST along with a friend of mine. During this time, all the servers were down. After waiting awhile, the servers came back and the best guess we could make to what our server should be (we live in the US) was the "EN" server. We figured that "EN" was "English" and at this time the NA server was still gone. We didn't know that the NA server even existed at first character creation.

Because of how the beta items are sent out, they landed on a server I now know is not the one I wanted to be on due to technical issues NA had. Is it possible to tie these rewards in based on each server, and not one-time for the account and fix this? I don't know if there will be a wipe since the team is reserving it if it's needed, and if there isn't I feel that I just did the equivalent of trashing those items.

Any reply from the staff would be much appreciated~
