I saw that one already exist but it hasn't been updated in awhile. So go for it. At the very least, it should end up being more informative than the dead wiki page lol.

Welcome to the forum! Always good to see another MMORPG gamer among the ranks. Hope this board meets your expectations. ^^

Will be entertaining to see the chaos unfold with people trying to snag popular Anime guitarist names. Will be like a Black Friday at a Walmart :D

This is a tough question seeing that I was a first generation MMORPG gamer that started with the very first game, Meridian 59 in 1996. Been playing MMORPG's ever since.

    1) Favorite MMORPG overall - Final Fantasy XI - It would take me an essay to explain just how good Final Fantasy XI was when that game launched in 2002. I've always viewed as that one & only MMORPG that took all of the best aspects of old school MMORPG's, improved on them while implementing new ideas that would become the building blocks for modern day MMORPG's.

    2) Favorite MMORPG (PVP) - Dark Age of Camelot/ESO - DAoC PvP was incredibly unique, intense & fun for its time. It took an incredible amount of team work & strategy to be good at it but to be honest, players that were bad at it still enjoyed it. That spoke volumes as to how good it was for the time. What made it even more unique is that every realm had different classes with exclusive abilities to each of those classes.

ESO was designed by individuals that worked on the DAoC PvP. The similarities between the two were very obvious. Where ESO fell short was in its name rather than the PvP itself. The game got more flak for not " feeling " like a traditional Elder Scrolls game but despite the whining that came from that select group of players, the PvP aspect of the game was excellent. Minus some balancing issues of some skills, the PvP was just as fun & intense was it was in DOaC. It would still consider DOaC the superior PvP game of the two however.

Below is just a small collection of some of the physical copy MMORPG's that I happen to own. What is not shown is the dozens of digital only/eastern based MMORPG's that I've played since the mid 2000's. Older games like Maple Story, FlyFF, Priston Tale & so on. I do happen to have my very old Maple Story forum signatures though lol! Back when I was calling myself LatinLegend

Sigh,Im starting to feel like Ice,the idea of just copying a build without even knowing what it does, could post a shitty build and theyd just copy it without thinking,if you really wanna educate someone about a class you need to make a detailed guide explaining what does every skill do and why you max them

Cookie cutter builds will always be a thing when it comes to these kind of games. People just lack the patience to learn anything & will look up whatever is considered a top tier build & copy it. While I do not copy builds myself, I do take my time researching what each skill does & try to weigh how effective it'll be for the way I play these types of games. Which tends to be single target DPS.

As far as i know ..
there is no mac version for soul worker in the other servers jp/kr.. etc..
i wanted to ask the mods if there will be one soon tho ? since the game is coming to the west and the fanbase is growing bigger and bigger ..
and i bet there r plenty of mac users which cant play the game caus it's not released on their platform..:/:/

A vast majority of the Mac users that I know these days dual-boot. That should be pretty much standard after apple switched from PowerPC to x86.

As it always is, it is first come, first serve. I am no different though as my main is pretty much always LatinLegacy. My alts however, are usually based off of something else. In the case of this game, Animes. So I will be trying to snatch something early on. Similar to The Elder Scrolls Online where I was able to get some of the bigger names throughout the Elder Scrolls franchise on PC. Such as Martin Septim.

Most likely won't happen. When done well, it can be a big financial investment. Even low quality voice acting with horrid translations can be a bit too much for most game developers early on. Especially smaller studios. It can be an option they can explore down the road if the game turns out to be a success beyond their expectations.

Community discord servers are more miss than hit most of the time. I've been part of many ranging from community ran servers to developer ran ones like the Anthem discord. I have no problem joining a discord server that surrounds this game but would prefer one that is ran by the development team. At the very least, have a few that are admins. The rest of the moderation staff should be made up with those that know how to manage & maintain a growing community. Preferably, adults that have experience with that kind of task.

The main issue with community ran discord servers is that the Admins/Moderators try too hard to cater to the needs of everyone. What should be a simple server setup consisting of no more than a dozen chat channels usually ends up spiraling out of control. I've been part of gaming community servers that can have up to 30+ channels. Most of which are not moderated so the chatting can be all over the place. Some people that power trip every time someone posts something that belongs in a different channel. It's just ends up turning into a complete mess full of toxic people. On top of that, the server is bound to have people join that have no interest in the game. They will just show up to be as negative towards the game as possible.

The game will be on steam & will most definitely have micro-transactions along with DLC bundles. The usual assortment of " starter package " " gold package " etc :D

That is very nicely done for your first time. I remember doing my very first signature &, well.... it did not come out as nicely LOL! It was done 19 years ago though for the game, Starcraft. That is my excuse & I'm sticking with it! xD

19 years ago?? Wow, it really was a long time ago! I saw a lot of tutorials for making my signature so keeping in mind that in... 1999 I believe? you had for sure less resources it's really cool! And I love the colors ^^

Yep, 1999. It was much less a resource issue & more of me not really knowing how to use Corel Draw at the time. Photoshop was around during that time but it was not too popular yet. I would move to Photoshop when version 7.0 released. That was when I started to improve as well.
