Exactly...I wish people would stop acting like this is a beta. Tell me a game started beta with a full price cash shop...not a test one. This is launch full stop.

Oh god, Warframe, a game that's in beta with a full-blown cash shop!

This would be valid if you didn't cookie cut the facts. They know they are not in beta and so does everyone else. It been out for 5 years and you know how they do that? Communication with it's fans is how. Meanwhile GF can't post patch notes or a roadmap to launch? They put that cash shop out asap. You think you are funny but you look silly trying to make a comparison with these two companies. GF wish they were in the same league as DE. Prove me wrong funny man.

Everyone knows they're in open beta. That's the point, it's never going to ever be a "complete" game since the team constantly patches things in.

Warframe is a game actually run with a direct line to the devs. The Soulworker dev team is halfway across the world with a different language doing their own whazzit. GameForge could be assed caring about doing anything besides the cashshop because they're only in it for profit.

Frankly Gameforge is operating at a way higher level corporation wise because they're raking in profits with a bare minimum amount of investment for absurd product prices.

And yes, I was trying to be funny. I'm glad you see the sarcasm.

Pretty sure in the limbo of the web there's a kr or jp data sheet of the enhance rate.

Or just poke someone who can look at the code's inner.

Or just aggregate data through player cooperation(lol wait cooperation?)

You would need some kind of heck motivation to keep doing your own translation when a full translation exists(of readable okay quality).

But I digress, I'm fine with the difficulty of the current game(even if intended to make cashgrab). It's been a pretty farcry since most mmos are edging towards a "make everything easier for the populace" stance.

hmmm so basically if you switch from steam to the stand alone you will lose your account ? or what i don't understand what everyone is talking about , and 2.7GB is annoying if it's unnecessary .

Steam and Standalone are different login details. You can't login using one's credentials on the other and vice versa.

I suspect if you just manually update it using a current up to date client you can skip it, but it's kind of doubtful since you would have to somehow only overwrite files that changed for it to be faster.

(Or if you believe your write times are faster than the dl times, which they probably are)

This sounds abusable and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they fix this later on, assuming this is a GF only thing and KR/JP versions don't have this.

I can't say anything for the KR end(I assume it's normal over there) and JP never had any reason to do this since everything is generally easily accessible.

I assume the upgrade limit is a decent chunk of their webshop and none of the clients have removed it either afaik.

It's an "accomplishment" to have a +9 to be sure, but it's nothing that's reasonably feasible statistically for a player not using the cash shop.

Even if you get 9 a day, that's still a minimum of about a month of grinding just to fully upgrade 2-3 pieces of equips if we're assuming the 100 + 50 anti-desturctions.

    I'd hazard it's not.

    1. It's just safer to assume it's not.

    2. The support staff would probably spend months trying to sort out all the purchases that have been made so far and checking their authenticity.

If you do decide to buy it knowing it won't be retroactively changed, and it does get changed, I guess that's good news then.

If you don't know that there are legit sites for selling MMO currency on you must be living under a rock, so does that mean everyone that knows about these sites and decides to mention them are shady? Lmao, that was rhetorical btw.

If we're really going to judge a game by their goldbot seller standards, I'm pretty sure you've disqualified everything except the most under the rock games.

Trusting gold-selling bots to actually give you money?

    Riiiight.

How does one even define a "broken" economy? When no one is buying things off the market? But clearly people are still buying things. You can't expect people who convert real cash to Dzenai to be the only ones keeping things afloat. People are obviously still buying things at the prices they are currently which means that someone out there finds it an acceptable price.
