Literally within a couple of hours of logging off and going to log in again I now can no longer launch the game or repair the standalone launcher because of this apparent error:
Please assist, as I've seen nothing around so far to explain what this means/what the problem is.
Edit: I've also uninstalled the game and deleted it's folder and reinstalled it twice with no resolution of the problem.
If they fully launch their cash shop and currency rather than just testing with freebies then you can be sure there'll probably be no wipe.

I did not mean to say the servers should be english only language, I meant global EU servers.
Not dividing people by country like it is now because as much as it is speculations for now, I do think it's betterto have people aware and adjust ahead of time that they will be sharing the server with multiple countries and multiple languages.
We only have Germany/Spain/France/Italy and Poland so the english server will consist of all the rest of the european countries
that do not fit in that category so many countries already have to adjust to that anyway, so why divide the other 5?

If they wish to have enough servers they can just make several global EU servers too.The servers aren't being divided by country, though? Like Portuguese people will probably have a better time on a Spanish server if they're not fluent in English because in writing they share a lot of words and can understand each other. I also know that there are a lot of similarities among certain Eastern European languages which include Polish (I have a Lithuanian friend who learned Russian and Polish by ear literally because of the similarities to his own language) so several different communities could end up gathering on the PL server 'cause it's easier.
Just because there isn't a server that doesn't obviously cater to you by name doesn't mean that English is your only option.

I'll be fair and say that I'm not Portuguese but Cantonese/British but I used Portuguese/Spanish because we have an ES server even if it was a bit kak handed. English may be easier but I think some people find certain things easier than others and it also depends on where you grow up and what you're exposed to IRL. People who live near borders or in big cities would probably find it easier to adjust/adapt to different dialects and languages.
The point of what I was trying to say is that even if not every country in Europe gets their own server to chill with their own people that going to EN isn't their only option because who are we to assume that they might not know another language well enough that they'd rather go there.

Yes, the english server will be packed with all the other european countries that don''t fit anywhere else
So it will already be one big server of multiple languages so it makes no sense to label it english
as well as dividing the 5 other countries from it.. That just my pov.
I guess Candus will become the laggiest server of the 6 EU ones.
I would rather have them label all servers as International ones, and than different communities can just pick where they want to go to, like they do in many other games. This would split the community more or less equally to ensure the survival of all servers, but it's too late now. Will be interesting to see how this will play out.

The situation that I explained happens in 90% of situations where you gather several different communities that communicate differently from one another in one place. It's something ingrained into our psychological subconscious to look out for our own and to reach out to and chill with people we feel familiar/a kinship with.
For example (not making accusations) lets say the Russians wanna play with the Russians and they're spamming a town/area where people gathers with Cyrillic and then the English speakers get mad because the Russian-speak is spamming their local chat (if you're familiar with the chatboxes ingame things can get cluttered/spammed easily) and start saying like "use ur pt chat" or "gtfo" and then the Russians either ignore them and keep talking making the people who feel alienated by the situation bitter and gives them another reason to "hate Russians" even though those Russians don't represent all Russian gamers or they react and start making comments and it turns into a little e-turf war.
Or everyone decides to stick to their own groups/people where they feel comfortable and choose to prioritise loot drops/supply to only people they like or know for a fact is "one of them" rather than trying to socialise and network with everyone creating a real bonded community.
If there was a way to guarantee that people could co-exist without eventually getting into some kind of stupid turf war and competition could be kept friendly among everyone then sure but I'm pretty sure that if instead of all these servers they made it ONE NA server and ONE EU server for everyone to pile on on that within a couple of weeks there's gonna be some serious bitching about all the German, French, Russian, Filipino, etc in local/world chat that however many people can't understand and how that's unfair for # player's experience.

In my experience from playing mobile games to subscription MMOs, when there's been a complete "anyone and everyone" international server with no preferred language (or "recommended English" or even when they do recommend a common language) you find there are cliques/groups based on language anyway of people who will speak their native language with complete disregard to everyone else who can't understand.
As much as wanting higher activity by having less servers for people to spread themselves across, it eventually causes bitterness in the community over time when people start to segregate themselves from others by only exclusively playing with or speaking to people who share the same language or country or by alienating others by not being willing to compromise and use a common language like English during groups with strangers and then the stereotypes come back out of the closet.

I'm turning 26 this year, female, and I'm from the UK (and yes, I have an accent).
I got introduced to this game by my boi Cyno and last I heard we're going to be playing on the NA server because that's where all the magic happens! (apparently 
)
I have a long an extended history of playing MMOs and other random stuff on mobile and other platforms but my most preferred type of games are (MMO/J)RPGs and I love playing support roles like healers, buffers and stuff with the flexibility to do damage, not just straight damage or tanking-types. (I like to back up my teaaammm!)
I like to talk, socialise, and get involved with people where I can and have the time to and hope I can become a staple part of this community. 
I'd also like to say ahead of time that I take very little of what goes on online seriously and I have a very "British" sense of humour but I'll try my best not to upset anyone.
