Where have I seen this problem before?

1 word.
Ping.
This is considered P2W? Lol.
Then this answers your question.
As a Canadian, i'm hurt.
The most outrageous and outright criminal thing are the extremely fucked, unbalanced exchange rates. Canada is essentially paying DOUBLE of what the rest of NA pays.
We Canadians have it hard. Since majority of online purchases we make come from the US, we end up paying these crazy exchange rates.
3 things are possible here.
1. The display is wrong and is actually suppost to show 2k
2. The game gave you an extra 200 SoulCash
3. Your friend already had 200 on his account
The first one sounds more reasonable to me unless your friend is lying and already had 200 SoulCash on his account because I don't know how Gameforge could make a silly mistake like this. If it really is a display issue this should be fixed as soon as possible.
It's also funny because this only backfires on Gameforge as well.
But at the same time if it was a display issue this problem would've been fixed a long time ago.
It doesn't really matter who is first, but t's pretty obvious that most people would prefer JP's version. And from what I've read, KR's servers are dead, so why follow a dead server?
If JP's publisher can get these benefits for their players, then GameForge should be able to do the same for us since they represent a much larger playerbase/region and should have much greater influence.
I think the OP did a great service to the community by bringing this info to us.
Well said.
Yes, NA is based off the Korean version of the game, but who cares? Why do you think the Korean version of SoulWorker is dead compared to Japan? Because the JP version is more enjoyable. Since SoulWorker NA is still fresh and new, I believe that it should share more similarities with the JP version rather than the Korean version even if it's the original version of the game.
But hey that's just my opinion.
I agree.
A lot of mmo's have these features which make gameplay more comfortable, such as Blade & Soul.
This is a common issue right now. I would check out this thread here.
Jesus, the server can't even survive 24 hours. ![]()
True, but you know what they say,
First impressions matter.
Which is why they should do compensation. That will be enough to satisfy players for the downtime. 2 100 energy things is a welcomed compensation, as we'd get 100 EP from the store additionally, for example. A mat works, as well.
I was seconds away from saying compensation would be the best way to satisfy NA players at the moment once the servers come back up. Also distributing energy would probably be the best choice as well.
well this is a fail open beta....... for na that is. all the other server player are making fun of us
thats what is annoying about gameforge and how we NA people have to wait for them to to wake up and realize that us NA players are awake when there asleep
Don't see how it's a fail when it is a "Beta server". Issues like these happen, that is why we are in the final test phase before shooting out of Beta. Going to need you to get some tea and relax, the world is not ending I can promise you that.
