Display Moreit's like these guys lack imagination. For one they could have added soccer balls to daily rewards, and tweaked quests a little. Like do a random dungeon with full party and get your first soccer ball. Two balls for slightly more challenging quests like do it in time limit certain dungeon, and third with slightly more difficulty, like complete 3 manic dungeons or something alike.
Another thing adding balls to drop table of monsters/district bosses would have been something that would have made this worth playing actual game to get. Or with recent housing update, giving little push to visit homes and look for footballs while interracting with players. Something like once a day visiting player homes you never been before and liking it would give you soccer ball.
But aspect itself, that way you get soccer balls by logging in (3 balls a day is maximum, 25 is required for anything) and then giving it even wider scale of failure/success by MAKING GAMBLING POSSIBLE. Someone will loose all of their soccer balls in attempts to get 25 for whatever he is looking for, and someone will get not only loads of converters but also few dorky hats.
It's funny, since when you see what other servers did with event and how much effort and thought was put into those, then you get event with pure gambling from Gameforge, and it just confirms for little they think/care.
Whole point of event is to keep playerbase invested in game and give reason to play the game. This is like 180 degree of that. Login few times get your balls and gamble. No gameplay investment required. This is just lazy design.
For argument like you want only free stuff and you are spoiled person who wants more and more, ill say that it's not rewards that matter, it's the incentive and attention that does. Giving event a wide gap with gambling in which players have little to no control over (RNG) it's straight up insulting. Someone will walk away with +10 EC's from this event, someone with none.
I'll repeat what i said before, that they should have not bothered with this ''event'' and just skipped it. It feels like forced release with no effort since other servers released theirs too. Sorry for a rant.
It's not lack of imagination if they don't have to be innovative in the slightest. JP and KR literally already had the infinitely better version of the event. All Gameforge had to do was ask for/use that.
Why didn't they? Who knows. Maybe they did, and LG declined them. Maybe they wanted to, but couldn't afford it. The only thing we can be sure of is that this event in its current state is essentially a joke, and that due to the impact it has on the playerbase's morale and its expectations of Gameforge, it would've been better to have no event at all.
Unless you count the fact that there's a high probability of all the gold botting accounts getting 3 ECs over the next month due to the event and inserting them into the market as a benefit.
