Fixing what? I have not seen anything broken up to this point.

A wipe does not solve anything. It's not about the amount of money, it's about the flow of money. If there is a lot of cash available fast you can naturally demand more for an item. Ignoring that they already said there will be no wipe, how would this solve this issue?

If you want put a hard cap on it make cash currency available via ingame effort. That way you would just use the system instead of the player markt. As the bonus it would delete ingame currency.

That's basically why I say it's a bug. You also lose the EP when just quit the dungeon, it even warns you that you do. Makes no sense that you can bypass it via dying. What kind of strange design is it? It does make sense if they simple forgot it's possible,.

The goods and bads about that system has been discussed more then enough. There is no need to bring it up very time. It will very likely stay as it is a core concept of Lion Games design for this game. If we are lucky it becomes a bit less limiting. For now, just deal with it, current events are a clear sign that GF is aware of it.

Speaking of GF, they do not implement anything into the game by them self. Most of what is criticized has been created by Lion Games. It's also natural that a games is suppose to make money. Its naiv to think a F2P game would really be free. Paying to extend playtime really is one of the lesser evils. Same with the costume prices. Do you prefer a gear wall that you can only overcome by throwing money out for upgrading? Or making content so hard hitting you basically have to cash for resurrections?

But again, this has little to do with the issue at hand. Anything that give people an advantage would cause the same problem.

Well they join in with max experience gear, level 16 weapon with + 10% exp buff on it, they are pretty much useless throughout the whole run and then leaves at the end.

This for example has nothing to do with the energy system, it's just leeching.

Simply fix the bug. Issue solved.

Edit: Also please be aware that there is an edit button.

That has nothing to do with GameForge or monetization and only little with the energy system. The developers, Lion Games, simply overlooked that they had to subtract the energy on death & Leaving as well and created an exploit this way. Do this at the issue is resolved.

The problem is human greed. It's a player who purposely does this to other players. Software will always have bugs and never be perfect, but using exploits at the cost of other is something humans do. No a publishing company, not the company of the developer, not any kind of system. It individual humans who do this to gain an advantage regardless of the others surrounding them. Actually, they are acting just like the NPC Henryk and this should be punishable.

Eh... no. She is a SoulForcer, a rather weak one, but she is a SoulForcer. In the beginning she just wanted "to do something", which basically earned her "house arrest" from her father. As a reaction to that she goes into that "spider house" where she gets infected by some sort experimental thing (?) of the NED company that would turn her into something like the human like monsters in the later Candus City dungeons. At this point she already realized her mistake.

Henryk uses this opportunity to see what happened at one of the NED companies laboratories. They find out that one of their experiments, the thing that absorbs Catherine, has broken free. Henryk then orders the player to destroy the laboratory, probably to hide what they did there. In addition the "antidote" makes Catherine into bait for that thing, that escaped the laboratory. Its actually a parasite that adsorbs humans soul force multiplying it's strength in the process.

She also didn't h´just go "lalala-ing". The whole city was evacuated to Grace City but pursued by the mobs due to Henryk turning Catherine into bait. The reason she was so happy is because she somehow got cured and was happy to finally have a friend.

Basically Henryk sacrificed Catherine for an experiment to get himself a promotion. That all happens after she regrets what she was doing. Her last words are actually "Papa, I am sorry".

I think the only thing currently available is the Steel Grave Set. "Attribute Raids" should still be deactivated and the German CM just informed us that the ability to enter Golden Citadel was a bug (it was deactivated as well).

Note that Steel Grave is a single player instance.

If someone sees that anything I said is wrong, feel free to correct me.

Edit: Looking at the crafting options, the unique 55 set is not bad either in terms of set effects. Actually much better, but it seems that it can't be crafted further.

Well if it just about adding more quest and some extra modes I don't see a reasons why not to. In fact just make a suggestion of what to add. Of course one thread per suggestion and we can talk about each specific one there.

There really is no need for a "EXP meta discussion" or 24 walls of text, if it's really just about adding more content. Even the "add more daily EXP quests" is just another suggestion one can make. I think that it is much more likely to change something that way.

Well it would have probably be easier to make progress if that is the first thing you read in the OP, but I digress...

First I have to ask: Is it a problem? Is there any kind of example that shows us how much of an issue that is? If I remember correctly Dragon Nest, Elsword or Closers are all similar in that regard and all those games also have a similar concept to SW. Don't know about DFO, but Grand Chase, when it still existed, wasn't much different either.

Well there is the issue of the other two mode not giving enough EXP or manic mode mobs hitting a bit too hard, however most other games also just give you EXP from Quests and killing mobs. So if the former two mentioned issues are addressed I think we are fine. Getting EXP by e.g. crafting would not change how much I enjoy the game personally.

I look at the number. The review itself also doesn't matter, it only matters if someone likes the game or not. Given enough votes you get a good idea if you should give the game a try. That being said I compared it to some of the other games listed on Steam, it has about the same rating.

In general I ignore most reviews. If its free I can try the game myself. People love to complain about all possible things I really don't care about. Especially if it's about a cash shop that's out for like a week now. Not a review I take seriously.

Edit: I think I need to say it... Why even bother writing a wall of text if you know people won't read it? You are the one who want's people to read it, if they don't its your fault.

Looking up Steam, it's still 74% positiv.

The assumption that everybody will instantly quite because of "empty leveling zones" also surprises me. When I start a new game I normally want to familiarize myself with the game first before going into groups. To be honest I would be really embarrassed going into a group and messing up the controls.

I thinks it's more likely that someone quits because the games does not give him or her the chance to learn it. That doesn't change in groups by the way, I still see people dying although I am healing them.

Cash Shop is probabel more of an issue then leveling, however that also means you need to understand the items in the shop. I really don't see the issues with the EXP. By the time it gets really slow you already deep into the game. If people quit because of that any other reason might have done the same. The game simply didn't click for them.

None of those extras really give you a great advantages over others. EXP might be debatable, but what do you gain from capping early? It looks like a nice pay for convenience. If you want to play the game intensively you can go for that thing. If not ignore it. If that's all we get in terms of "P2W" I am extremely happy with this.
