    Which edition of windows are you running? What kind of error are you encountering? Are you using standalone or steam? Do you have the japanese voice pack? There is also a package of vcredist 2017 but it doesn't have a dedicated page because i believe it's included in windows update and anyone running somewhat up to date windows 10 should have it already, or if they've used an application or game that required said package are usually bundled with it. thus it is not something i would recommend downloading manually.


    definitely share your errors because most users seem unaffected so its hard to know what is wrong otherwise.

    I found a link that has a download for the 2017 package from Microsoft and leaving it here just in case if it will help someone.


    Installing it for me didn't work though.

    • Windows 10
    • Not using steam, just the standalone

    I tried everything too..


    • Reinstalling game
    • Uninstalling, repairing, installing Visual C++ Package 2015 (x64) since my computer is x64
      • I also even installed the packages for 2005, 2008, 2010, 2015 for (x64) and (x86)
      • Still didn't work
    • Restarting my computer after installing/re-installing all the packages and game.
      • Still didn't work

    Nothing works. ):
