It is rather funny I just read thru the forum guidelines yet again that are actually linked on 25arp26 signature. There is no mention about making sure to not make duplicate posts about the same topic or making sure to merge them. So really this is a single forum moderators personal issue and not one of the guidelines set down by GF.

Maybe because the general discussion section is for discussion general issues such as the server being down? Also there was a thread about this very same issue made yesterday but was closed for no reason. If that thread was left alone people wouldn't have felt the need to make a new one. If you had merged them into the already merged thread in general discussion and reopened it there wouldn't really be an issue.
Seems like maybe this is a case of too many hands on the wheel and too much personal preference being thrown into the moderation of the forums. Maybe this is why I like game forums like blizzards and the such where the moderators were paid employees and all followed the exact same guidelines.

Yet it very much looks like you are trying to hide something. This is a place to get questions answered and or report a bug found. What is happening in these posts is simply a general conversation and sharing of grievance and ideas. Sounds like where it was originally posted is much more proper. I would think a forum mod should easily be able to decipher and follow forum posts. I sure don't have a problem following multiple threads about a similar topic and keeping all the conversations separate. I also see nothing wrong with multiple threads. I mean is GF really that strapped for server space they cant handle a few more text sized pieces of information on a server?

Hmmm this is the first i'm hearing of this storm. Still the NA server isn't just down for some.. its down for all. So i don't know if this could be a cause but if it is. Would be nice if some form of message was given to the player base letting us know that. Then it could totally be understandable.

Why merge these various threads about the server being down right now into a thread that is asking a question that was answered more than a week ago? It feels more like you are trying to bury the discussion about current server issues. Plus the help/bug section is hardly the place to be discussing server issues and is more for getting questions answered.
I agree seems like maybe the forum mod should maybe learn more about modding and common sense. I could understand this all being merged into where the topic originated in the general forum. Than as you say trying to hide it in a place people are less likely to go.

Yes, you're right. We are voluntary teamlers and we are only responsible for the forum.
I would think you would have a better use of your time then with other posts that actually need your attention. It is kinda common sense that each new day and new server outage there will be a NEW server outage posting talking about THAT server outage. It would actually be made more clear as to which time and place the post in itself is being referenced and it is something technically new. So why shouldn't a new post be made?
This seems like some kinda of personal issue of yours and wanting it to be merged.

I find it rather funny that its only posts of this nature they even bother to complain or do such on. Theres tons of posts that are duplicate posts of another nature and i don't see them whining and merging them.

Seeing as my last thread was closed even though I have been in communication with the game admins thru tickets and the guild name is known and they haven't told me i need to change it. I will repost this thread.

Noticed a lot of people saying they are going to quit due to the server issues... but i almost guarantee they haven't. I only have a small window to play until the weekends, so it's a little disappointing that the server is having many issues... Nonetheless just shows how much i'm currently enjoying this game.

Yeah, I agree.... I'd be frustrated, but wouldn't bitch about quitting all over the forums.
If it is this bad during a weekday the weekend will only be worse at this rate you can expect the game to most likely be down all weekend. As even more people will be on the servers.

I mean I can kind of get what they are going for. Some people like working hard for a hat or a top and show it off, but if everyone can farm it in a single day, nah, in a few hours, it kind of kills the "accomplishment" factor of that item. I mean it's an MMO, you're probably going to be playing the game for months and months anyways.
Like I have stated before I would have no issue for these kind of numbers from like some rare drop blueprint. That I am more than happy with "getting the sense of accomplishment feeling" from the incredible grind fest it is to make that item. Yet we are talking about simple and quick to obtain fashion recipes that literally everyone gets...... by simply doing what they need to....to progress and level. So really where is the unique factor in something like that?

I would be okay with it if we didn't have the energy system but as someone said on another thread "I would rather have the Energy system than crappy drops or farm like mad" so we are on the right track guys.

Everything sounds nice in words. I have yet to see anything that will prove they will uphold or even be able to provide such a service. Given from as ive come to understand thru issues with my guild name and other issues. They do not even have full control of the game and some of its functions..... like renaming guilds or even moving and deleting items...

Umm... it isnt the japanese voices... my friend had to specifically install them himself. Those are korean voices....
I guess I misheard from the character I chose, sounded most similar to Japanese dialect. Just checked another and yeah, I'm not hearing japanese words.
Welp, time to grab the JP voices then.
Ya I am not sure how he did it but im sure its easy to find the files required. I dunno to me i could certainly tell it didnt sound completely japenese to me and yet i mean of course they will sound similar..

I wish they'd implement a refresh button on the server list so we don't have to consistently relog to check if the NA server is actually up.
Other than that, great service so far~
I usually log into a server then change servers that refreshes it just fine.

So.. why does the game use Japanese voices yet apparently have KR focused content?
They think western audiences are the 48 hour nonstop grind enjoyers that Korean player are?
Because they're damn wrong; we detest grinds the most.
I just keep seeing one baffling decision after another.. ontop of all the game's bugs and technical issues (both server and client).. I'm fast seeing the playerbase for this dying off rapidly, especially with the NA server going down for 6+ hours every day.

I don't think getting on their nerves and annoying them is a good idea =w=. It also ruins it for people who have actual issues and have submitted a ticket, so doing that would make it harder for them to get answers out to those who need the help.
I know sarcasm is hard to convey thru text... but i'm not being serious.

My question is, how much different is those mats drop rate to our version? I'm honestly asking because I never played the other versions but maybe we get the materials a lot more easier/quicker than the other versions. Though honestly, even if that was the case, I'd rather have the lower mat requirement as it's hard to get motivated to grind for it when you see over 300-400 materials needed per piece of fashion...
From what i can understand from a friend who played the JP version. The drop rate on materials is the same as far as they can tell.
