I took a break and recently wiped my Laptop to clear space. And eventually I tried downloading the game again, but I cant select or pick servers at all. No matter how many times I boot up the game or relog or reinstall dont do anything. I keep hitting the repair button and it doesnt do anything either. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I just find it odd how everyone was screaming for Iris, now she just came and we forget that she is "New" for us and want more... Like I understand the excitement over new stuff too don't get me wrong. However you have to keep in mind, Soul Worker in KR wasnt a big game after the first few years of its launch. It doesn't have allot of content to begin with because it doesn't have allot of players to give it the funds to do so. I mean, I just put two and two together because it looks obvious to me, and this one youtuber from KR that Im subbed too started playing Soulworker and he said it recieved allot of fame "Recently" Since like march 28 or whatever. Which isnt nessisarly proof or anything so take it with multiple grains of salt. Just be thankful they added an actual EVENT that we can waste time in that we were all asking for from the other servers. It will come soon dont worry they are updating the game at a fairly decent pace.

Not releasing classes just to keep game alive that i can't understand. At least for me if i don't want to play other classes then i play them just to kill time and it'll get boring pretty soon. Not to mention im not wasting money on them.
Well it might work for your average MMORPG, where you pick class based on their role more than on their appearence, because it matters more and you know what to expect, but in SW pretty much everyone's job is to smash enemies and from time to time use specific abilities to "help".
I mean now we just sit there and wait for Iris instead of taking part in the game process, participating in events and server's social life. Sure it'll rise online in some way after Iris comes out but it feels more like online is lowered artificially just to be rised when current active players will lose interest and/or will to pay(or it fall to some point).
It takes time to patch and translate everything, testing and making sure everything is working fine. Not to mention JP doesnt count because it was out longer, The main server KR has a "Smaller" following from what I see. They just added Job advancements now. And assumingly the raid with Iris is like the second to last huge thing. Then we need to wait on job advancements. Other than that there isnt really much to work with. As hard as it is for waiting since myself included, is excited for the new stuff as well. Usually games from KR most of them if not some usually follow this trend or way of doing stuff as well. And the game has been out for like 4 - 5 months now? And I think its impressive to see that we are almost done. She should be coming quite soon.

Maybe look back at everything I wrote instead of picking the things you want to read. All I said, the longer I look back at these posts the more I wonder why WHATS the point. Limited items and for people who didnt take advantage of it being available during said time, people can put it at any price they want. Basic Supply and Demand. And if its a uncommon item, you can make any price you want, for example Weapon Upgrade Chips.

The negativity from some is inexplicable to me. We have received Jin and now housing in the span of a few mere weeks. As has been pointed out, we're almost caught up in content to the KR release of the game. How many localized MMOs can say that? And given the pace of the updates, how can you doubt Iris is around the corner?
For those who don't want waste time on characters they don't plan to play on Soulworker seems like not even started yet. Yet it has been like... 5 months since launch? We're waiting since then just for Iris to be released and we don't realy care if there's Jin, Housing or other content released because it pointless without our main character. We don't really care if SW gets content in subjectively faster pace than other MMOs. All we care about is waiting more than 5 months to actually play this game and enjoy it and who knows in which state online will be when we actually get Iris and how many months we still need to wait.
I understand you want to play Iris. But pretending the game hasn't been receiving plenty of updates is disingenuous. So is saying the game has been around for 5 months, when it only entered beta at the end of February and has been officially launched since April. Which means you have been waiting for two months, in which there have been multiple substantial updates that have made a lot of people happy. Unfortunately, you are not one of them.
Make no mistake, I'd like to make an Iris of my own, but what you are doing won't have the character arrive anytime sooner.

The only substantial update we got was Jin + Golden Citadel and Golden Citadel is a meme.
This is the problem with releasing the coolest looking character months after release when it's already out in other region locked versions of the game. Also the fact that we pay stupid prices for in game clothing in comparison to aforementioned versions of the game is another testament to how little thought is put into the community, they want profits for as little work as possible it would seem.
Gotta string out the updates for as long as possible to extend the shelf life I suppose.
Owners of the game, Bugs, Translations, Glitches, Rushed features, underdeveloped areas and events. And many more things I can list off but I don't feel like it. I am not familiar with Gameforge, so I cant really speak from personal experience. They seem "SmallER" or at least less significant than like Blizzard for example or other huge successful games. I have no idea if you guys dont have experience with Korean MMOs, either that or Im just an idiot. From my experience from Elsword which I hate using this as a reference point but its a perfect example. Every new character or content patch comes in distant patches usually a new character would appear for us in NA for like Either every July or June-ish or December or the end of the year. And major like events or drastic patches come once every month and cosmetics come every week or every other week, whether it releasing a new costume set or the week after released accessories that go for said set. I have no idea how much I can stress this, there are other servers that you can play if you wish too, You dont have to be here waiting on content that is already out in other areas. And with that you have to google that yourself. I'm on here because its in direct relation with the company who made the game. So every dollar, every penny, or even every hour I waste on here. I know its going to the game that had a smaller following to begin with. I see the potential in this game. I dont see a Erwin holding a gun to your head telling you to buy cosmetics, nor do I see the TOS telling you that you need to pay a monthly fee to play on a FREE game. Somethings I find questionable as well. yes, however just focusing purely on the negatives isnt going to get us anywhere. Im not really keeping track on the days. But we just got GC recently and Im pretty sure Iris will come fairly soon considering how fast we got Jin in the first place. Just because other servers have everything, you have to keep in mind they have been up for years already, we only been out for like 4 or 5 months? Yes thats what his is based off of. I mean sometimes that I noticed allot of the hairstyles are rips from NPCs. Like Stellas Elegant long, Lex and her other long hair that I forgot what its called, is based off Catherine. And some are just subtle nods to other NPCs I guess, Unless Im just blind af. At this point I dont really know if its considered LAZY or CREATIVE.

I wasnt talking about the point to begin with. Im talking about the post after the first 10 that got to the point and instead of being constructive and getting to the point, its becoming quite, questionable in the direction of this post. Unless the dyslexia is screwing me over (Which it probably is) Im pretty sure this got debunked already so I dont see why everything is getting more violent and everyone is "Wrong" because they used to live there/ or dont know but they google up digits or had a friend that lived there. I could be wrong but thats what I see. Like you saw me asking what is the point of this post, when I actual meant whats the point of the negativity and brutal responses from the more "later posts" than the beginning.
Well not much to say anymore, all i am saying at the end is there is overhead cost for company hiring people and so on and a lot other factor that may changes the SC cost. But if they wanna say JP server is better go ahead, i already stated my point that simply no shared bank in JP server itself already a turn off for me. But again like all my post, those are my opinion, everyone has their own opinion and what they like. They like cheap SC, then go ahead and go to JP server. If they want GF to change the price of SC, then just ask GF to change it, which i doubt they will change it. Due to overhead cost and other cost they need for their company to make profit, a reasonable price is needed for our server.

You were arguing that Japan's standard of living was the reason for the price discrepancy because they "dont have that much extra money to afford gaming". Then when I provided evidence on how wrong you are, you ignore all the evidence by claiming you know someone who told you Japan is poor as if that was some sort of proper counter argument.

As for the negativity, YOU are the one calling me out. Not the other way around. My arguments until you posted was related to the topic of this thread. Since this is a thread about JP vs GameForge and someone tries to justify one of those differences based on wrong info, I think it's appropriate to correct that info. YOU on the other hand is spreading all the negativity with trying to villainize me as spreading pain and suffering. So YOU are the one who is going totally off-topic and trying to turn an on-topic argument into a personal attack.
No one was calling you out to begin with, Unless you are a hive-mind of some sort and you are a majority with one consciousness then I would understand why you are a bit tilted. Dont like something? Form a petition to change it. or complain about something till it gets changed, like the hair and SC prices. It mattered because someone tried to imply that the reason for the price difference between JP and EU/NA is because Japan is a poor country and hence the lower prices, which is not true. Since this is a thread about JP vs GameForge and someone tries to justify one of those differences based on wrong info, I think it's appropriate to correct that info.

I don't really class housing as 'playing' tbh. I just mean getting Suzie's set or stuff that is char locked. I don't have any motivation to get that for a character I'm not going to play after her release

Honestly. Soul Worker, given the amount of time its been out already looked small to begin with. So there isnt that much in the game to begin with. But I see pontential thats why Im (Hopefully) not wasting my time. That being said. At the rate they are going they are like going SUPER quickly compared to other games. Are they doing the best? I cant answer that since Im not a programmer or a game developer of some sort. Usually games that try to catch up to a mother server (From my personal experience) Have major patches Every month, And new like events or cosmetic releases every two weeks.(( (Btw Im agreeing with you Biestmann Im not taking jabs at you))). Because if they threw all the updates at once Im pretty sure everyone is going to scream about more stuff we dont have like events, which isnt common sense and a bad business practice, Its a MMO thats being played with Real time, not a RPG game that you play alone that you progress with all the content at your disposal. Thats the one positive and negative about online games. They constantly add new games but you have to wait for what you want. Games that you own, you have everything that you want and eventually go out of date and you get bored, which goes for MMOs too however they can have various more tools for versatility. GameForge isnt the Blue fairy to your Cinderella, No bibbity Boppity Boo, No flick of a Stick, will bring everything at a snap of your fingers. Just be happy that we dont have to play in JP or a much more restricted KR server. Anyways thats enough rambling. Zzz.
