  • Where is our transparency?

    Everyone should just brace themselves for an eventual wipe of this OBT. Don't invest too much into it right now, and instead just test things out, have fun and plan for the future.


    It would however be nice if the Gameforge team made a 100% decision and just told us if it'll be a wipe or not, that way we can decide to invest a lot more time into the game, or simply just test things out as if it were a closed beta test.

    A new member! Yay ~ <3 Welcome Solaris!

    Been in this guild for 2-3 days now, and from what I've observed, they're a great bunch of people. No matter the veterans or their higher ups, they're all very friendly, joke around with everyone, have fun and also help with the game stuff. I made the right decision of joining them ^^


    Hoping to stay with them for a long time.

  • Where did you learn about the game?

    Asked a friend for an anime style mmo, recommended Soul Worker for me (as well as a few others, not mentioning!). When I saw it's run be Gameforge, if it were a few years back, would've been hesitant about joining. But the past like 2+ years or so, they've improved a lot (Tera) so I'm happy to join this game. Hopefully GF keeps up the good work and this game's community grows even more.


    Also tested the game out a bit on other server, have to say it's ok so far, could use a little improving in certain areas, like guilds and such, but then again, the game isn't that old, so there's room for improvement. That said, everyone should give it a try and not get disappointed by what you might hear, try it for yourself first when it comes out.

    So? I also have many friends from NA. I'm not implying anything, nor got any ulterior motive. Stated a few simple reasons, that's my viewpoint. Some can accept it and support it, some can't.


    In my viewpoint, I would prefer a separate Discord for EU, as that's been a better experience for me. I've also been in mixed ones, and it was just too chaotic. Anyway, that's that. Just a little wish from me, we'll see how it goes.

    If it ran by CM's GM's, their power would extend to the game. So getting banned on Discord would meant getting banned in the game and this forum too.

    That's another point. If you want a information sharing place, then you have the forums, with CM's and GM's monitoring people. Discord is used more for players to have fun, make friends, guide each other, or even get a bunch of people together and build a guild (considering only max 60 people can be in a guild, when guild is lvl 10) etc.

    It's just more effective if it's separated. Especially considering timezones, and both zones different type of communities. I've played for over a decade on NA servers, and 4-5 years on EU servers, in different games. There are quite many differences, and many games have opted to separate the two regions communication platforms.


    Information about the game can still be shared on the forums, official site and also between the two discords, there would be no problem. Discord is more of a place for different communities to hang out and chat, make friends, etc.

  • Question regarding guilds

    Some games even have the option to Usurp the guild leader if he/she didn't login for a long period of time (around a month or so), then the officers could take over his/her position. But nowadays, most games don't even have this, so many guilds have basically died or been remade just because the guild leader suddenly disappeared one day xD


    It's only a dream, to hope that new games implement a more detailed guild system. It would make everything so much better.

  • Question regarding guilds

    Guild UI, functions and stuff is really lackluster in sooo many mmo's these days, that it's really sad. It wouldn't take a lot of work to code a few useful functions to the guild system tbh, it would make the guild leader and the officer's life so much better.

    Going to be so hard to just get online once game comes, just because 15487 people are waiting to click ''Start'' to go and reserve their names, lol. Happens. Every. Time.
